True. The trouble is, you're then forced to make choice between two unkind realties:

Part of me wants there to be a fairytale Jewish homeland, somewhere, anywhere!, peaceful and proud. But there's no way I can support the murder and the theft they're up to now. The Levantine Arabs did nothing to deserve all this punishment for German sins during the Nazi Reich. Israel is dead the moment the Americans pull the plug on it.
I asked my Labour MP how much money he had received over the years from “friends of Israel”. He wouldn’t answer. That’s another simple question to ask your politician to determine if they represent you or Israel.

Anon at 10.52am there already is a Jewish Homeland it is called Israel. It was achieved through displacing 750,00 Arabs. You are not forced to make the choice you postulate. Israel could have adhered to international law and chosen to be satisfied with its UN agreed borders but it chose to continually land grab from its neighbours under the pretext of being the victim as it bombed the hell out of its neighbours. Zionism is ethnic cleansing and rampant colonialism justified by Old Testament writings.
