Scot Goes Pop: The Final Fundraiser is underway (you can read more about why I anticipate it being the final one HERE) and it's already pretty close to halfway to its target figure of £1700. A million thanks to everyone who has donated so far. Card donations can be made at the GoFundMe page HERE, or if you prefer to cut out the middle-man, direct PayPal donations can be made to my PayPal email address, which is: jkellysta@yahoo.co.uk
All good news. Just watching HR questions on bbc and the review by the press. One from the Herald and one from The Telegraph. No one from Scotland. BBC state broadcasting at is usual bias.
ReplyDeleteThat sickens me and Darren. We watch that and it makes my blood boil. Specially when U No Hoo is on.
DeleteThe polling shows really quite a radical change from the 2014 referendum result. A No majority transformed into a Yes majority. Lots of work for unionists to do to turn this around, although it may already be too late for them.
ReplyDeleteJames
ReplyDeleteSorry but as some one who has made contributions in the past I cannot continue any longer as the format is no longer suitable for me.
I understand the rationale behind the change and I wish you all the best in the future but as you can probably understand at 74 it’s too much hassle for me. If you could give me your bank details or another simple way to pay I will happily make a final contribution.
Hi, the whole idea behind switching to YouTube is to try to avoid having to fundraise at all in future. But if you're not planning to use the site going forward, don't feel there's any need to make a final contribution. I'm not going to post my bank details publicly anyway - I did that once and someone instantly bit my head off, telling me I was taking too big a risk. If anyone wants my bank details for a direct donation, just email me at: icehouse.250@gmail.com
DeleteHow would Wee Stewie vote in response to the question "Should Sandie Peggie be an independent country?"
ReplyDeleteShe's Campbell's pin up girl.
DeleteFarage, and Polanski friendly, Find Out Now, Westminster voting intention, field work 10th Dec.
ReplyDeleteBaffling Scottish sub-sample (113).
Con 13%, Lab 6%, LibDem 12%, RefUK 22%, Green 12%, SNP 29%, Other 7%.
Other appears in data tables as singular. That would put Labour in seventh place!
The Sandie Peggie case is being reported across the world and it is an embarrassment to Scotland. The Fife NHS spending £300k on legal fees to defend the rights of a trans woman, who has not got a GRC or had any surgery, to change in a female only changing room in a hospital. This despite the law being made clear by the recent U.K. Supreme Court judgement. Fife NHS being found guilty of harassment despite wasting public funds on expensive lawyers that should be spent on patients in Fife. A tribunal judge found to have made up false previous case details along with a multitude of other errors in his written strange judgement.
ReplyDeleteThis whole shitshow has been delivered by Sturgeon's gang of weirdos. People who believe people can change sex just by saying so. Plenty of these nutters troll around SGP posing as independence supporters.
Cast your mind back to Yvonne Ridldly. She is an arch grifter, likely deeply homophobic.. some of the dots may join up..who knows.
ReplyDeleteOne might also deduce that Riddky is not keen on yanks?
We should all do the best we can to make this electoral prospect happen.
ReplyDeleteI suspect that under the present voting system and with present SNP leadership it is however most likely to slide into another swamp of prevarication and hot air.
It may be that our best chance lies in some kind of collapse of the UK. The downside being the dislocation and mess that that would involve. Also we've faffed about for so many years that any 'collapse' will have packs of Farage and Robinson rabid dogs ranging about in it.
Not a very attractive prospect. Is there a 'good fairy' out there to tell us, realistically, that this is simply the jaded pessimism of old age ?
I remember Alex Salmond, addressing violence and the Scottish independence movement, saying that nobody had got as much as a nosebleed as a result of the cause. This is a good thing of course. But a cause that nobody will take any risks for is not a cause that is going to win anything.
DeleteDoes he believe in independent countries ?
ReplyDeleteI am of the belief that any opinion poll has to be taken with a large pinch of salt. Having campaigned throughout the 2014 Scottish Independence Referendum, and of course won in our constituency James, I believe, based on the headway we made during the last campaign, turning a supposed 28% for Yes, into 45%, we can do much better the next time. There are only two factors to be considered, how, and then when? If anyone can answer these questions I would be greatly heartened.
ReplyDeleteThe Tribunal Judge could have saved everyone a lot of hassle if he had trimmed his judgement down to saying that Fife NHS harassed nurse Peggie and Fife NHS need to change the sign on the changing room door to say “ All Welcome”.
ReplyDeleteThis case is a perfect example of why juries are needed for as many cases as possible. This Tribunal judge obviously is a trans supporter and has let his bias shine through his judgement.
Ok Stu.
DeleteWhat cobblers. Many court style tribunals and lesser courts are judge /adjudicator led. It seems there is more to peggies view on life than the biased press chooses to show.Other witnesses seemed to be more reliable based on reports. Still if I needed to change I could wait, go to another location such as cubicle without this rigmarole. Who is paying for this?
DeleteWill she be appearing foe a political party next?
DeleteThe guy didn’t have a GRC or any surgery. It clearly said on the door it was for females only to change in the room. He shouldn’t have entered the room. It’s that simple.
Delete8.41pm - such a silly billy comment.
Last year's winner of Eurovision has returned his trophy in protest at Israel's continued participation in the contest. Well done.
ReplyDeletePlus a long list of Portuguese artists have said they'll refuse to represent the country if they are chosen.
DeleteThis poll is a great wee Christmas gift for our movement.
ReplyDeleteKinda lifts my spirits after that Reform council election win.
In respect of the Peggie tribunal, from what I have read I think her appeal will probably be successful as some of the findings seemed to try circumventing the SC's clear direction in respect of biology as the determining definition of a woman under the Equality Act.
Also great to watch that odious pompous git Offord getting chewed up and spat out by not only the other panelists but also the Scottish sudience on QT.
You are really vexed over the tribunals finding was it 43- 3 against Peggie?
ReplyDeleteNo, I am not.
DeleteAs I said, I expect Peggie to win her appeal.
Pity that she seems to be a bit of a bigot herself in other respects though.
