DeleteBurnham has informed Scotland that we are not equal to others and that we are definitely not in a union of any kind
ReplyDeleteScotland has been informed that our country is the occupied territory of England, so those who believed they were unionists were lied to as well as the rest of us
Scotland has been informed by the English government that our country is in the same position as Ireland was before they took their country back from occupation
Nationalist bull.
Delete6.22 spot on comment.
Delete6.22 pm Absolutely dead on the money
DeleteMore of a colony than a country really
Delete8:22 spot on, it is bull!
Delete8.29 is KC talking to himself again.
DeleteWould people please stop swearing, I have no option but to delete those comments.
ReplyDeleteIs twunt ok? We need to know.
DeleteIt was never a thing. People got carried away over the extent of Northern Ireland's self-determination "rights", which gives a sneaky veto to the SoSfNI.
ReplyDeleteA comparable provision for Scotland would simply give that veto to Douglas Alexander. That seems like a complete waste of time.
A very good article by Brian Taylor in the Herald:
ReplyDeletehttps://archive.is/E5lNs
Personally I think Swinney correctly leapt straight in on Burnham's Big Blunder, and pinned it to the wall for all to see, no messing about.
He does indeed need to keep with the chisel and hammer at the crack in the U¬K.
Oh by all means we should be loudly pointing out the significance of what Burnham said and the contradictions within it. But what we shouldn't do is deceive ourselves into thinking that it represents substantive progress towards the UK government actually granting a referendum in the real world, or that one more heave (or fifteen more heaves) will get us to that goal.
DeleteJames at 11.09am. 100% correct.
DeleteAs I actually said however, Swinney was fast on his feet and needs to keep chipping away at the crack in the U¬¬K.
DeleteLabour had plenty of time from Tony Blair and tories John Major to promote the same process as NI. The fact it’s now suggested indicates an increasing concern by britnats.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, it is not necessary to have 30 years of violence in order to have a peace dividend. Skip the disorder and proceed straight to negotiations.
DeleteBoth countries get independence referenda if there is a clear consensus that one is wanted. So far, such a consensus does not exist in either country.
ReplyDeleteIndeed.
DeleteThough, incredibly, there are some who would have us believe a clear consensus does exist!
11.38 and 12.14 are KC.
DeleteYes. He's not exactly the master of disguise, is he. "It is I, Leclerc."
DeleteLOL.
Delete12:14 was me, however 11:38 WASN’T.
Good to see I’ve got a wee bit of support on here 😀
They were both you. The "one was me and the other WASN'T" thing is every bit as much a part of your standard repertoire as the Nessie material.
DeleteThe thing about sneaky KC is he never posts any argument for the fake union. So he very kindly shows up that the fake union is only there to benefit England.
DeleteAh Ifs,
Deletestill not come up with any “benefits of Indy” for me?
Oh, and you never did elaborate on why London is a “dreadful” city( I think it was “dreadful” but not sure, it could have been another hideous term).
In you own time!
London is a tip, let's be honest.
DeleteTrump has just openly said the a united Ireland would be a great thing and he is in favour of it.
ReplyDeleteCue a frothing melt-down of Ulster Unionists who had him as their idol.
The Orange Blimp has caused Orange-Stauncher Outrage.
Trump also says he’s in favour of the US owning Greenland and the Gulf of Mexico being renamed Gulf of America (amongst many other crazy ideas).
DeleteI suppose Trump will now be a hero amongst nationalists!
Trump’s hero is your hero Churchill.
DeleteAre you a Trump fanboy, KC?
DeleteI believe you are.
KC is a Trumpfannyboy.
DeleteTrump's only trying to be like the British are
DeleteTrump also says he’s in favour of the US owning Greenland and the Gulf of Mexico being renamed Gulf of America (amongst many other crazy ideas).
DeleteI suppose Trump will now be a hero amongst nationalists!
Seems somewhat unlikely, given that another of his mental takes is that Scotland should remain in the UK.
Mind you, if it really were indyref2, the SNP is at its weakest.
ReplyDeleteSNP are strong, many points ahead in the poles. Swinney a popular leader with ordinary people.
DeleteIs ALBA fighting back? What happened to the monies
ReplyDeleteYes, ALBA have now decided to stand in the 2023 Rutherglen by election.
DeleteSeriously? ALBA have wound up i believe.
DeleteWas going to wear my kilt in Glasgow one day next week but it’s probably not worth it as I’ll probably be branded a right wing racist and arrested
DeleteFunny how desperate the Brits are that they're once again trying count the people who never vote on anything as though they would be unionists if they did vote
DeleteUp to 15% of the population do not vote, so they do not count
1.08 Sorry, but that simply isn't true. The Union is the status quo. Those who don't vote or say don't know in polling have clearly turned their back on the Union and should be counted as pro independence.
DeleteScottish Skier of WGD pioneered this concept and he's a man of science and career statistician. He's not going to jeopardize his reputation by talking arrant nonsense, is he?
When push comes to shove, the majority of undecideds will vote for the status quo. I think it’s fair to say most people accept this.
DeleteSome people do have a tendency, in indy polls, to evenly split the don’t knows or undecideds to come up with two figures, however in reality most undecideds will vote No when it comes to the crunch.
The 'status quo" is now is a Little Englander Brexshity mess of a 'union' which is rapidly drifting to a Faragist/Trumpian/ MAGA morass.
DeleteAnyone who thinks undecided Scots are more likely to vote for that shambles than for an independent country is a completely deluded idiot.
2.13 here. I'm sorry but I agree with Skier on this. Don't knows should be counted as Yes.
DeleteAnons@9:54 and 9:55, or maybe it’s the same numpty!
DeleteWhat utter nonsense, truly desperate stuff!
Anon at 1026
DeleteAnd there you are, proving my point.
An idiot who would prefer sailing down the Swanee under Captain Farage and his crew of racist fascist Maga-Lite nutters who will follow Trump into the abyss, rather than see an Independent Scotland ditch that extreme-right rubbish and set a European course to sanity and prosperity.
Are some folk stupid or just not understanding,? if you ask a person a question that they refuse to answer you cannot assume you know what they might have answered
DeleteFirst, you don't know if they are don't knows
Second, you don't know if they are don't cares
Third, you don't know if they don't like either option because they refuse to take part
Are we seeing the light yet? or are some folk still thinking they have a psychic ability to just know what people are thinking?
Anon at 1043
DeleteGive you Farage Fanboy t shirt and MAGA -Lite gate a wash, pal.
They sure do need it.
David Francis, like many independence supporters, dosen’t like to hear or read the truth!
DeleteThe leaders of Scotland Wales N Ireland are meeting to plot the break up of the fake union. Swinney will report the details back to Westminster.
ReplyDeleteThe union is a scam. It has always been an English scam. There is no democracy for Scotland. Things will be bad for Scotland if the Faragists get control of England. Will the English vote for the fascists. More than likely. They voted for self harm in the 2016 referendum to get rid of white foreigners. They want rid of the black foreigners coming on the wee boats and could vote for more self harm. As ever we will have no say in the matter.
A shitstorm is coming.
Usual nonsense from Ifs.
DeleteBy the way, that was me replying to your post above, once again asking you for the “benefits of indy” and why you dislike one of the finest cities in the world so much?
benefits of indy
Deleteyou get the full tax take from day one
you get a government you actually voted for
you can pursue independently, policies which benefit your people not some hostile foreigners who despise you
masters in your own land - no longer having to listen to the braying, patronising, twisted vowels of the little englander, an ethno-racial supremacist who thinks he is one of the master race
you are no longer attached to the ball and chain of a country which is going down hard (see dover, see portsmouth, see islam, see 3rd world)
peace and quiet
no more anglos anymore
they've been kicked out of 65 countries, no one ever wanted them back because everyone hates them
10:03,
DeleteSo basically for you it’s all about a hatred for the English!
How sad!
You rant as if you speak for all of Scotland, but you are in a minority. You are an embarrassment to Scotland and decent Scots!
Sorry IFS but you are a monumental example of a classic idiot
DeleteKC you're no better than IFS.
10.44am you are as big a waste of space as KC. Probably are the sneaky lying Britnat.
DeleteThe only foreigners England likes are the foreigners they can control.
DeleteKing Chump sounding a tad rattled there.... well done Anon@10-03am.
DeleteThere's absolutely nothing wrong about disliking the English or England, they rule and take from our country for the benefit of themselves like they did with every other country of their rotten empire, that's why they got kicked out of them
DeleteKC has no argument except he hates Scottish people and Scotland
You can leave whenever you like if you think England is so great KC
I'll give you this KC, at least you have your opinion, IFS is a fake liar who just pretends to want independence, a Tory through and through and always has been
12:57 pm
DeleteNothing to disagree with there.
Bon accord and 12.57 the phoney independence people are all in the SNP leadership but numpties like you are blind even when they are stealing SNP funds. People like you are to blame for where we are today.
Delete12.57 is the women beating Dr Jim. Just thought I would point that out for the numpty Bon accord.
DeleteIt's funny, everyone thinks WGD is full of dull, party-first, focus-grouped establishment gradualists. And then Dr Jim stumbles in and blathers "there's absolutely nothing wrong about disliking the English".
DeleteKC seems awfully fond of London. You're not Nicola Sturgeon are you, KC?
DeleteIFSY at 2.21. You are responsible for where you are today.Take responsibility. Classic right wing unionist tactics to blame others. Your mask is slipping.
ReplyDeleteI’m of the opinion that both IfS and kc are unionists who are paid to come on here and shit stir.
Delete5.10pm you are the plonker who wears an anonymous mask.
Delete6.03pm probably the same anon plonker as 5.10pm.
My moniker says independence for Scotland your moniker says coward.
As I said, time for IFSY to start taking personal responsibility. His pathetic keyboard warrior patter suggests he is still on his teens, but sadly no.
Delete8.59 you are and always will be an absolute plonker and liar.
DeleteYou still can’t tell the difference between lies and opinion IFSY? After all this time? Campbell loves muppets like you.
DeleteDesperation continue apace over on WOS. A ridiculous letter lacking specification of items is understandably dismissed by Police Scotland. Can Campbell be held responsible for some of the costs involved in his vexatious actions? He is, in my opinion, wasting Police time. If he wants, he can take more cash off his faithful idiots and instruct Private Investigators. Has he provided a detailed account of how he spent all the money he got from the idiots?
ReplyDeleteOk Nicola @5.20. Returned any stolen goods yet?
DeleteFeel free to specify. With evidence to back up your assertion in respect of each item. Evidence was always going to be problematic in this case, and the Crown were relieved to negotiate a plea. You would know that if you weren’t a simpleton. Now jog on back to WOS and rejoin your pals.
DeleteThe Rev has pals ?
DeleteNicola is a bit upset @9.41 . Poor Nicola she is a victim you know. Buy her book. She needs the money for champagne and cream cakes.
DeleteHi IFSY. Still not keen on personal responsibility are you.? To be expected. I see your anons are on overtime.
DeleteNice picnic, was it?
ReplyDeleteIs Nicola having champagne picnics in London?
DeleteWe seek him here we seek him there, we seek IFS as himself or Cubby the Tory, or the anonymous poster who replies to himself as he has no friends.
DeleteRemember IFS you're held directly responsible for comments you make on the internet.
A troll who posts disgraceful comments is threatening me. An anonymous poster obsessed with me. He/She/They must be in love with his Nicola. Scottish Skier used to threaten me with legal action when I said Sturgeon would not hold indyref2 and there was criminality going on in the Murrell household. Guess what - I was right and Skier Is a fool. At least Skier didnae hide among the anons like a coward.
DeleteOops IFSY I thought you never posted as an anon? You just have. Again!
Delete10.31am what a complete plonker. It’s obvious it is me at 9.08am. Unlike you who always posts as anon and just posts abuse. Never any content of any worth about Scottish independence. That’s because you are an ugly Britnat troll.
DeleteAway and look for a post where I said I have NEVER posted as anon. Just you saying that. Take your time numpty.
Oops IFSY. Obvious to everyone except you it seems. Another wee failed back pedal. Mask slipping IFSY. Take a long break.
DeletePlonker - take a long walk off a short pier.
DeleteGoodness IFSY you are falling to pieces here. In the past you specifically accused N S. Now I see it's watered down to the Murrell household. And you are forgetting when you are posting as an anon. Have a wee break.
ReplyDeleteNumpty anon at 10.35am cannae work out that Sturgeon is part of the Murrell household. Still husband and wife. What stolen goods has Sturgeon returned to the Polis? Take your time anon numpty.
DeleteOh dear. Perhaps you really don't understand what is being said IFSY. You do come across as thick. More probably you realise what a complete tit you looked after your specific allegations against N S crumbled and it's a pathetic attempt by you to backpedal. It hasn't worked. But keep being brave and tough online. Fight the cowards.
DeleteThe plonker just cannae answer the question - what stolen goods has Sturgeon returned. There was about £60k worth of female specific items. Surely she has returned at least one of them. Did she give them all to the alphabetties for services rendered? Is that why she cannae return them?
DeleteCome on plonker you have all the answers - don’t you.
Never mind the plonker will be able to go all ecstatic that I have posted as anon. Fill your boots.
IFS
IFSY at 9.08 playing the keyboard warrior again. Taking on all the cowards. Aw bless his wee cotton socks.
ReplyDeleteCowardly troll at 10.38am.

ReplyDeleteAnon troll at 12.34pm - thanks for caring.
DeleteAnd his small brain.
DeleteOh major crime. I forgot to change anonymous to Independence for Scotland. Woe is me. The plonker will be on soon saying caught you.
DeleteOh I did it again must be my small brain malfunctioning.
DeleteIFSY in full confessional mode. Hopefully he will feel better. As he consistently denied posting as an anon until he got caught out does that not make him a liar? So a liar, a keyboard hard man and a bit of a tit. Some C. V.
DeleteFull on plonker at 1.48pm - his only target in life is to catch me (IFS) posting as an anon. There you go I’ve done it again. Fill your boots.
DeleteNo denial by IFSY. No surprise.
DeleteAnon at 1.14. Major crime? That explains the pish you talked about N S.
Delete3.22pm is a classic nicophant - worshipped her/him/they for years and his mind cannae come to terms with reality. You’ve got to feel a measure of pity for them. It’s not your fault 3.22 you were born a gullible numpty.
DeleteBe honest IFSY. How much have you paid out to Campbell?
DeleteThese nicophants really are the lowlifes. No standards. No integrity. Supporting the Murrells for all these long, long years thinking they would deliver indyref2 but all they were focussed on was the next delivery of luxury goods from Amazon using SNP funds. Even now one or two of them try to kid themselves that nothing happened. It was all a bad dream. The baldy Murrell purchased 3 luxury hairdryers for himself not his wife and her friends. Yep they believe that stuff. Nicola is innocent despite the Polis sending a report on her to the COPFS. Did the report say the former FM has very good taste and only likes the very best of everything but she did nothing wrong and innocent people always say no comment, no comment …….,……………for eight hours straight.
ReplyDeleteAll hail IFSY! Slayer of the Sturgeonites. Annihilator of the Nichophants. Assassin of the Anons. All round hero and tough guy.
DeleteIfsy....have you told the good people of SGP about when you and Nicola were schooldays sweethearts? You knew it was bound to come out sooner or later?
DeleteGood grief I thought Plonker had had the sense to fly its coop having made a dysenteric mess all over the place. Poooh.
DeleteLeave IFSY alone.
DeleteThese nicophants and KC are liars and sad people.
DeleteThere you go plonker I’ve posted as anon again. Something you do all the time. A simple mind focussed on a simple matter. Fill your boots.
You summed yourself up nicely there IFSY. Refreshingly honest for you.
DeleteWhatever male numpties of whatever nationalitities try to take credit for the Good Friday Agreement, some of us remember fine well that it was due to Northern Irish women standing up to the males and telling them where to get off.
ReplyDeleteDoes Andy Pandy Burnham think he has the slightest chance of standing up to the two fierce women of Northern Ireland? I hope he has a big box of tissues to sob his little heart out. Bless!
A large percentage of the Scottish people will be very angry at the sight of John Swinney joining forces with Sinn Fein.
DeleteAw diddums KC is upset at 2.55pm because Swinney is one of his lot and he cannae have a Britnat hobnobbing with Irish freedom fighters. In KC’s utopia the British Empire didnae disintegrate but instead it took over planet earth and the moon.
DeletePrime minister Farage will see us Scots regain our Sovereignty. Watch this space
DeleteA large percentage of the Scottish people will be very angry at the sight of John Swinney joining forces with Sinn Fein.
DeleteI was going to make a sarcastic remark about all those lost votes in Brigtoun, but actually Brigtoun pretty much is SNP these days. Oh well, maybe this is Labour's big chance
Wrong once again IfS! That wasn’t me posting @2:55pm.
DeleteYou’re not having the best of days are you😃
KC as you are a proven deceitful liar why should anyone believe anything you say. I don’t.
DeleteMy day is fine. Posting as anon so the plonker can fill his boots.
IFS.
More giggles from WOS. Campbell seems to think he is a fully qualified lawyer. He is offering his help and expertise to Police Scotland. Strangely, they seem unwilling to follow his advice and act upon his expertise. The muppets, as always, are lapping it up. Kerching.
ReplyDeleteI thought he was meant to be 'instructing learned counsel'......that'll be another crowdfunder then.
DeleteMany thanks to the plonker for pointing me to WOS where Sturgeon has been reported for the crime of reset. Come on plonker come to her defence. Tell us at least one stolen item that she has voluntarily returned to the Polis.
DeleteWhat a disgrace Sturgeon is.
A FFM who trashed a High court jury on National tv when its purpose was to brief the nation on Covid matters. She/he/it/them did it multiple times.
A FFM who claimed she/he/it/they knew nothing about her husband’s embezzlement.
Now a FFM who has been reported for reset. The plonker had his chance to save this happening but couldnae think up one item.
Poor wee Nicola her nicophants are just useless.
What a legacy. Never mind Westminster will look after her.
Gotcha! Jim fae Dundee (ifsy) really rattled this evening!
DeleteHe cant stand the fact that Nicola is recognised as responsibly handling Covid as opposed to boris the blob.
Anon troll at 6.21pm. Kindly note I do not make up silly identities for you like Eejit fae Edinburgh. Because unlike you I am not an eejit.
DeleteNow if you were paying attention during Covid you would have read many posts from me saying Sturgeon did better on Covid than Johnson. However people like you just make up stuff or could you not read then.
Now thanks for reminding me that part of Sturgeon’s disgraceful legacy is she/him/it/they deleting her/his/it/their messages despite promising to keep them all. Could it be she/he/it/they didnae want people reading a message, for example, that said “ Peter have the hairdryers for A and H arrived from Amazon yet “
Nicophants like you are pathetic.
Poor wee Jim fae Dundee is well and truly rattled tonight!
DeleteJim Fae Dundee and Stu fae Bath, are they related ?
DeletePoor wee IFSY, he’s getting dipsy
ReplyDeleteOr should I say anon?
I’ve often told him to seek out help
But now he’s too far gone.

ReplyDelete...that doesnt scan you incorrigible functionary.
ReplyDeleteI hope the comments here aren't representative of what passes as the indy movement.
ReplyDeleteOf course they are! We're all members of Flinty MacGobsmacker's Atlis group!
DeleteThe comments here are mostly IFS talking and answering himself as various different people so he's sure of himself agreeing with himself
DeletePoor old Jimbo (2.17am) is getting really upset it’s keeping him up at night. More and more people are seeing his darling Nicola for what she is. So he has to try and convince himself that it’s only me that sees the real Sturgeon.
DeleteSame question to you Jimbo - out of the £60k worth of goods her husband bought for her and her pals with embezzled funds exactly what has been returned?
Jimbo on WGD was always making out there was nothing to be seen here. The Polis erecting a blue tent and removing half empty cartons of milk etc etc He had plenty to say then.
Dr Jim has done a runner back to safety in amongst the doggers.
DeleteCome on Jimbo just who did your darling Nicola hand out all these embezzled gifts to. A good chunk of the existing and previous Cabinet? Shona/Shirley or even Kezia? Or was it all for the alphabetties?
I guess this is a hing-oot where everyone is a cowardly dipso plonker with no braincells, etc, etc, etc, forever. Hopefully, this blog keeps them away from the general public.
ReplyDeleteIt most certainly doesn't work for me, and I doubt it works for other people. Cavemen waving their cocks online is unappealing.

Sorry, I should have added 'numpties' to the very long list.
DeleteAye and along with another ring fenced referendum fund
Delete10.28pm do you have a point to make that is of any value or interest?
Delete6.02am Yes a ring fenced fund that somehow became woven in to the SNP accounts and then as if by magic disappeared. Where did it go? It’s an SNP secret.
Join the SNP to find out, instead of perpetual whining.
Delete8.54am why don’t you or any SNP member just answer the question then?
DeleteIfS, ask your buddy Clerkin.

Delete10.36am troll. What is your evidence that Clerkin is my buddy - none. I have never spoken to him or met him. Another anonymous liar making stuff up. Or is it the plonker again.
First one excellent. Rest just crap. Get a life IFSY.
ReplyDeleteLets ask about ALBA finances and the links with MI 5
ReplyDeleteAlba is no more, it's now the cult of St Alex.
DeleteThe Herald gave me a laugh this morning, describing Wings as 'pro-indy' !
ReplyDeleteYou supporting a unionist paper.
DeleteNope, it's paywall. Besides who'd want to contribute to Kevin McKenna's salary?
DeleteWhat kind of drugs is IfS on? He is single-handedly destroying this blog. James, I love your postings but the comment section is becoming truly farcical due to that one person.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I am not reading through over a hundred posts when at least half of them are by that idiot. WGD for me until he is removed or limited. Return to pre mod? I know the numbers are good for.James but any NO voters or undecided are going to be repellend by this.
DeleteParrot alert! Plonker at 10:13 and 11:47.
DeleteAnd IFSY comes right on. Clueless or what? We know it's you you fekkin cretin. Get a life. Try and get your hole. You might be the oldest virgin on here. Sad wee man.
DeleteLying troll alert at 12.20.
DeleteAnon at 2:41 PM
Delete12:20 pm was me, and your clueless misidentification shows what a totally thick Plonker you are. But hey, you're good for a laugh even if you don't mean to be!
So you are also posting as an anon. What a pair of clueless tits you are. Same advice to you. Get a life. Get your hole.
DeleteI have no problem at all with IFS. He / She has a good command of the facts, excellent recall and a confrontational style that is a force of nature in itself.
DeleteAnon at 4:29 PM

Will you be joining your pals in Edinburgh to make the case for the Union?
*laughs*
10.13 am and 11.47 am - you provide no counter facts or arguments to my posts. You are a troll. You are the problem.
DeleteThe plonker troll showing his lowlife character at 4.29pm.
DeleteNice trap yesindyref2.
Ignorant troll at 11.47am. Try counting the number of posts and I think you will find that anonymous posts make up the majority. Oh guess what that is you anonymous.
DeleteIt’s widely accepted that, had Scotland voted Yes in 2014, we’d pretty quickly have been forced to go cap in hand to the IMF.
ReplyDeleteAs a respected economist said back then, independence is the economics of a madhouse!
The UK is currently trillions in debt. Andy will have to go to the IMF cap one hand soon.
DeleteAnon at 10:15 AM
DeleteAbsolute rubbish.
It is widely accepted that Scotland would have investment grade credit ratings similar to New Zealand for instance - AA+ and Aaa.
So you dont respect Prof Joseph Stiglitz (Nobel prize winner). Scotland more than capable of standing on its own feet.
DeleteAbove 11-36am is in response to Anon@10-15am.
Delete10:15,
DeleteI do remember something along these lines being said in 2014.
Anon at 10.15. Evidence for your ridiculous assertion? Thought not. Away back to the express, more your level.
DeleteActually someone did say something like that in 2014 - David Folkerts-Landau - then chief economist for Deutsche Bank. He's worked and lived in London for 30 years and I guess you could say, owed his living to toadying up to the UK Government at the time
DeleteHe also, just for interest, totally misread the 2008 subprime mortgage crisis. Not the brightest star in the firmament.
10.15am is the rantings of KC straight from the Orange Order madhouse. Widely accepted in KC’s Orange Lodge.
DeleteOh dear!
DeleteYet again Ifs gets it wrong. 10:15am wasn’t me.
There’s more unionists on here than you like to think it appears!
“ Independence is the economics of a madhouse”
DeleteA trademark KC comment. Used many hundreds of times on SGP
Aye it’s you KC at 10.15.
YouGov Westminster voting intention, field work 13 - 14 Sept, population sample 2,149.
ReplyDeleteHeadline; Tie between Labour and Reform UK, no change.
Lab 23%, RefUK 23%, Con 20%, LibDem 13% (+2), Green 11% (-1), Restore 3% (-1)
Reform UK must be down to a core, immovable support. The tempests of scandal keep coming and they stand as resilient as the Bell Rock lighthouse.
Scottish sub-sample (187)
Con 9%, Lab 18%, LibDem 7%, SNP 35%, RefUK 19%, Green 8%, Restore 3%.
Electoral Calculus predictive model with Scottish finesse.
Labour 122 seats short of majority.
Lab 216, RefUK 163, Con 111, LibDem 71, SNP 49, Green 19, Plaid 3, others 2.
Scottish picture is; LibDem 5 seats, Labour 2 (one of which is marginal), Tories 1.
In other news (from the Herald):
ReplyDelete"Elected representatives from the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) in Northern Ireland will travel to Edinburgh to set out a “positive vision” for the future of the UK."
and
"He [Brett] will travel to Edinburgh on Thursday, alongside the party’s MLA’s Diane Forsythe, Cheryl Brownlee and David Brooks to take part in the Shared Heritage, Shared Future Summit with the Grand Orange Lodge of Scotland."
Ironically, the membership of the Orange Order appears to have fallen from a high point of 90,000 in the 60's, to 34,000 in 2012, to around 20,000 or less now.
Much like support for the Previous Union itself.
Sure it's old but it ain't beautiful.
DeleteAnother missive from the solicitors for Campbell, to Police Scotland. Its terms are astonishing to me. His solicitors appear to be a firm comprising two accredited specialist commercial litigators. Quite what they know about embezzlement and reset is anyone’s guess. Campbell has advised his muppets that he may be looking for more money. The first person to pledge her support is called Patsy, I kid you not. The entertainment continues. More popcorn on order.
ReplyDeleteRemember the days Wings used to fly over the Unionist media, rather than boring on and on and on about Sturgeon? I daresay in due course Wings will write an article about this one from Stephen Daisley:
Deletehttps://spectator.com/article/is-it-too-late-to-save-the-united-kingdom/
"The slow demise of the United Kingdom is suddenly gaining speed."
You might get a free look as I did.
It is the problem with the Indy movement - too many bloggers like Wings attacking the wrong people. Sturgeon is history, Independence is the future.
The plonker troll seems to think embezzlement and using ring fenced funds for the wrong purpose and keeping it secret is funny.
DeleteMore insight to the plonkers lowlife character.
"His solicitors appear to be a firm comprising two accredited specialist commercial litigators"
ReplyDeleteIs that David Halliday, who once sent a letter to this blog threatening James with legal action unless comments were censored on Campbell's demand? A famed champion of free speech is Oor Stewie.
Much as I hate to be involved in any way, if a business (or person) has been the alleged victim of embezzlement (or reset), the usual remedy would be via a court including the (Outer) Court of Session, and via a firm of commercial litigators. Yes, it is a valid speciality.
ReplyDeleteAnd that firm would be completely entitled to check if a police report has been filed, as this would be relevant to their case. Perhaps it could help in identifying, tracing and freezing assets prior to their potential recovery, or goods to the value of funds.
An FOI or multiple FOIs to relevant authorities such as PSS would be totally valid in themselves, if they follow some reasonable acceptable format with adequate information to identify the reply required.
And a reply is required - even if it is to say "We do not hold that information". A follow-up might change the questions a little so as to address information which IS held.
Wings asked for people to contact them, and may be holding details of allegations. The solicitors are doing their job in pursuing claims.
The future is plonker troll idiots. This is of the utmost.
ReplyDeleteThere is hope for Scotland. Not a lot but there is hope.
ReplyDeleteThe very impressive Sinn Fein leaders may well push Swinney out of his devolutionist comfort zone. They are no mugs. They will spot a traitor carrying out dodgy actions. They have plenty of experience of Britnat spies.
So there is a wee bit of hope for Scottish independence but it won’t be driven by weak willed SNP numpties.
All well and good, and great if it gets us closer to independence. However, we have to accept that a substantial percentage of the Scottish people won’t be very happy (to put it mildly) to see the SNP in cahoots with Sinn Fein.

DeleteYou are presumably talking about Jackson Carlaw who referenced Sinn Fein ties with the IRA - back in 1984 in Brighton.
Or perhaps that highly representative Russell Findlay who'd use a Greggs sausage roll to attack the SNP if he could get away with it? Yes, that's a substantial percentage - roughly 0.0000004%! Oh, plus maybe the SNP house journals, the Sun, the Express, the Mail and the Telegraph. Like wow.
On the other hand the President of Ireland is on a four day visit to Scotland. While she is an Independent I believe, the governing parties in Ireland are Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael - descendants of Sinn Féin, who are again a well represented party in Ireland (2nd I think).
Move on Anon - politics evolved, and at one time Robert the Bruce himself was indeed, an excommunicated Outlaw.
Yes there's hope for Scotland - Scotland IV - A New Hope. You can tell that from the desperation of the Unionists and the silliness of their arguments. And wannabee Daniel Defoes.
DeleteI think Swinney may be OK, but he does need the SNP to stand behind him and give him a push. No, not with that sausage roll, what a waste! It would be embarrassing for him if Northern Ireland and perhaps also Wales beat him to the freedom line.
Anon at 11.13 am. About 20000 knuckle draggers who were never voting Indy. Increasingly irrelevant.
Delete1:01pm,
DeleteYou wish!
Anon at 1.09. Wish for what exactly? Are you one of them?
DeleteAn interesting take from Kathleen Nutt in the Herald:
Deletehttps://archive.is/jeUnl
"It's too early to say if the Celtic Alliance will lead to the break-up of the UK. But the unwise responses to it on both sides of the Irish Sea will certainly help its cause."
Indeed.
Campbell is pushing for prosecution of N S, not recovery of embezzled funds. He has no locus to pursue recovery of funds, unless you have information that is not public. A simple rebuttal of the entire contents of the letter from his solicitors to Police Scotland suffices to bat that out of the park. And using the J R process is nothing more than, at best, showboating. If it ever gets that far it will fail. All at other people’s expense of course, not Campbell.
ReplyDeleteThere's different things, including the so-called "ringfenced" funds, and the whole thing does indeed involve repayment a la Roddy Dunlop formula as part of it. The only info I have is public - read the relevant articles on Wings from at least July, but preferably before when he asked for people to contact him.
ReplyDeleteAs far as "locus" is concerned, he has whatever "locus" those who contacted him, gave him. There is nothing unusual in people asking others to represent their interests. Nothing unusual either in group actions, sharing the costs and risks. The person organising it does not need to be a claimant - hence the likes of common law centres.
Whatever the rights and wrongs of this particular "crusade", I personally totally believe in making justice available to those who can't afford it on their own. Isn't everybody?
11.49 Ifsy, “ politics evolved, and at one time Robert the Bruce himself was indeed, an excommunicated Outlaw.” And who excommunicated him and declared him an outlaw? None other than Edward I of England! The murder was reported to him as “the work of some people who are doing their utmost to trouble the peace and quite of the realm of Scotland”. King Edward of England was a blood relation to the Comyn’s and so the English portrayed Robert the Bruce as a villain. Comyn had been ordered to capture
ReplyDeleteWilliam Wallace and hand him over to the English King, whether Comyn would have carried this out is open to conjecture but whoever captured Wallace would be given lands and money as ‘favour’ to England! The only way that politics have evolved is that from sword and blood it is now psychological violence against Scotland.
11.49 is yesindyref2 so why are you referencing IFS? It looks like IFS lives in your brain.
DeleteThat was me not IFS. You can add to the attempt at name blackening by the victor rewriting history in no particular order Mary Queen of Scots accused of plotting against her own crown and brutally murdered by her cousin after years on death row, BPC cast as stupid and a coward, so-called "Bobbing John" ex Secretary of State swindled by the then Parliament who led the 1715 Jacobite "Rebellion", a whole load of other Scots whose history was rewritten by the "victors", and is only now being slowly pieced together and rewritten nearer the truth. Still happening though even now by "Westminster, the Mother of all ......." ...
DeleteAnd of course the Easter Rising, Eamon de Valera and Sinn Féin of 1918 - and now Sinn Féin of the 80s, 90s and right up to date as well.
Locus is not given. It is determined in accordance with the law. Campbell does not have locus. Anyone foolish enough to instruct him to proceed on their behalf would need to be warned of the consequences, financial and otherwise, of failure. Campbell isn’t going to bail them out. He uses others people’s money. Dugdale ring any bells?. As for your suggestion that I consult WOS, I still cannot decide if you meant that as a joke to lighten the mood. In any event, he will make noise, part people from their hard earned, line the pockets of the legal profession, and achieve nothing, and no one outside his bubble will know anything about it.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteIm not an expert in embezzement or law but if youre telling people you have ring fenced a fund for a referendum campaign and then simply spend it at the same time as saying you have ring fenced it, it is dodgy as hell whatever way you want to swing it.
