There is no unambiguous outcome to yesterday's readers' poll about the future of Scot Goes Pop as the result currently stands - so far traditional text-blogging is somewhat more popular than videos and podcasts (perhaps unsurprising given that I ran the poll on the blog rather than the YouTube channel), but in total just over half of you want the YouTube videos to continue to at least some extent - either on their own or in combination with some text-blogging. I'll continue to mull it all over.
However, I'm delighted to say that two more people set up a recurring monthly Ko-Fi donation last night, plus there was another one-off donation. A million thanks to all three of those people. That brings me to a total of four monthly Ko-Fi supporters, plus there's also a pre-existing recurring payment that doesn't go through Ko-Fi, so five overall. As stated yesterday, I'll probably need to get up to several dozen recurring monthly supporters on Ko-Fi to make this work, but I'm slightly more optimistic today than I was before. Plaid will get more seats at expense of RefUK, they have 30% in Welsh sub-sample.

Labour are in no position to reject unless they plan on ruling Scotland with Zero MPs.
SNP must drive a hard bargain.

I've always wondered how someone so terrible at faking sincerity has survived for so long at the top levels (ish) of politics. He's always saying stuff like this, going on about how selfless he is while selling his grandmother to a glue factory. If a conniving politician in a work of fiction spoke like him it would feel like lazy writing

It’s not entirely impossible that Burnham calls a snap GE. He would spin it that he’s giving the people a chance to have their say on his change of direction. There may be a sweet spot where Farage’s personal implosion splits evenly between the Tories and Restore Britain. If he waits out Starmer’s term, folk will realise that Burnham’s gimmicks (No. 10 in the North, etcetera) are just that, gimmicks. Folk enticed away from the Green Party (E&W) will drift back. Burnham lacks the levers of power to re-industrialise, if he tried to seize them the City of London and the Permanent State would destroy him.
The S G stands accused of failing to react to the Cairngorm fire. The S G must counter this by publishing online the detailed timeline of its actions. This will disprove and discredit the Tory arsehole Bowie who is currently using an allegation of incompetence as a political weapon. The S G must neutralise it with factual information. Can it? Or are they still too busy arguing about toilets and men in skirts? Action now Swinney, and publicise it.
