ONE-FIFTH of Reform UK voters in Scotland would vote Yes to independence, says new Norstat poll

  1. I’m firmly against Reform and all they stand for but this is proof that we need to be a broad church. Independence is not exclusive to the Centre Left.

    1. Reform don’t stand for anything. They blow with the wind. If they thought there were votes/power/grifting potential in immigration that would be their policy. They homed in on the brexit brigade in the lead up to the referendum, and are sticking with policies that appeal to those knuckle draggers. Remember they supported P R till they thought they might do better in FPTP.

  2. Easy peasy. People who are serious and constructive about their immigration concerns will have no problem about legislation to prevent our nation's choices being swamped by the preferences of those from one other much larger country.
    (The Alyn Smith types can wander off in the direction of their own particular fantasies.)

  3. The decision of the Home Office to ban Cenk Uygr from the UK is absolutely bonkers. Cenk’s opinions are entirely mainstream and in line with those of the British public The British public opposes Israeli action in Gaza and the West Bank by a ratio of five to one (YouGov April 2026). Labour / Likud spot the difference.
