Has Trump ushered in an American FASCISM? His administration now has SEVEN of the eight essential features of a fascist government

70 comments:

  1. Historically a public servant with a gun would be required to shout armed police etc . Now it’s shoot while filming on your iPhone. Who would want to visit the USA.

  2. Lord Mandelson never saw any young women on Epstein Island. Perhaps they cleared the decks to make room for the catamites. If rumours about Senator Lindsay Graham are accurate Epstein kept a stable of young boys in reserve. And why wouldn’t he? If the purpose is Kompromat, why limit your options?

  3. I think those wanting guns based on the US Declaration they should be willing to use a 18th Century flintlock! Now a car is weaponised and therefore a driver can be shot without warning several times.

  4. One of your best videos James.

I would add that even for the feature that can be said not to fully apply to Trump the fact that he has been trying to bully the big US oil companies to do his bidding in Venezuela is an indicator that he is getting there.

I agree that Starmer is sucking up to Trump big time but Swinney has been doing the same. Swinney did not need to attend Trump's opening of his new golf course in Aberdeen.

    4. Anon at 4.32pm. Wrong it's me.

Trump has managed to get the Epstein files and Gaza removed from the current media agenda but they will come back if Trump ever takes a break from harassing the whole world. Multiple countries bombed in 2025. Multiple threats to other countries in 2025.

    6. Anon troll at 5.42pm You are entitled to your opinion. Even obnoxious trolls like you are entitled to your opinion even when it is a lie. You will not see any post by me saying I hate the SNP. The SNP was a once great party of independence that has been taken over by devolutionists and weirdos. It needs to be saved.

Your phoney independence leader Sturgeon, who promised so much but ran away and left her husband facing charges of embezzlement from the SNP that she led, once said she detested the Tories. So I am happy to say I detest trolls like you.

  5. Probably he has. He’s certainly bad news for America and maybe Europe and NATO.

Possible silver lining - even a stopped clock tells the correct time twice a day and hopefully the people of Iran and/or Venezuela will benefit from his adventurism.

    1. Since he left Maduro's government in place (as long as they give the yanks their oil) that is unlikely. Even if Trump decides on regime change it's even less likely it will be to a proper democracy. More likely as with previous USA coups it will be a right wing dictatorship. Or civil war.

  7. Yes.

Without any shadow of a doubt, America under that orange orifice-discharge is now a genuine fascist rogue state.

At home, Trump ignores any court orders he doesn't like, tries to shut down any media which speaks against him, enables a totally fascist personal army called ICE to terrorise communities, abduct innocent American citizens and even murder them and enriches himself and his pals with the most blatant corruption ever seen in US political life.

Abroad, he has made America even more into a regressive colonialist empire-building and treaty-shredding monstrosity which now rivals Israel as the most hated country on the planet.

The US of A is now a Clear and Present Danger to just about every other country, apart from Russia, China and Israel itself.

Latest updates also suggest around 25,000 football fans have so far cancelled their trips to the US for the World Cup and many, many more are expected to follow their lead.

    Who could blame them?

  8. america went fascist around 1950 with the creation of the national security state and continuity of government apparatus, allied with the rise of the military-industrial complex. Eisenhower told everyone in 1960. You are 60 years out of date.

  9. the coup of 63 cemented the power of the cabal which was running it; the deep state murdered the democratic leader.

  10. A subtler definition of Fascism in relation to colonialism would be that the Fascist are vocal about it while the NeoConservatives do it by stealth while denying their actions.
Trump tells it like it is. That what makes the State Department nervous.
An unintended example of the honesty of the Trump administration would be their statements in the immediate aftermath of the kidnap of Nicolás Maduro. Having previously pretended that Nobel Peace Prize winner, Maria Machado had support in Venezuela (as per the State Department fantasy), the Tump administration threw her under the bus and put out a statement supporting Delcy Rodriguez. Their reasoning was that in the words of the Trump administration, she had made a good job of handling the economy. This was unintentionally honest in four ways:
    * They admitted that boots on the ground was never an option.
    * They admitted that the State Department had been telling lies about Machado.
    * They admitted that the Venezuelan economy which they had been telling us for decades was a complete basket case, wasn’t that bad after all.
    * They admitted that the sanctions the State Department had been telling the world were targeted at the elite of the Chavez, and Maduro governments were actually targeted at regular Venezuelan citizens.

    1. Stated that Trump was furious that Machado had accepted the Nobel Peace prize which he believed to be his. So the “rightful “ leader is ignored by the man boy behaviour of a spoiled brat.

  11. Watched CNN Bulletin regarding the Homeland Security leader being interviewed. Watch a hard rich individual trying to avoid pertinent questions. CNN wasn’t rude or patronising but kept their eye on the ball. Compare this with Kuensberg interviewing Mandelson. https://edition.cnn.com/politics/live-news/trump-ice-venezuela-greenland-news-01-11-26
Incidentally does Kuensberg Daddy still sponsor the Labour Party?

  12. Meanwhile back home just 4 months away from the Scottish elections we have John Swinney rabbiting on about gender fluidity and lgbt rights in our primary schools. It’s little wonder that most of the folk I know are voting Reform. For gods sake man fight for the saltire and no this rainbow urine. Ps don’t mention the greens horror show

    3. It's just so wrong that this stuff is told to primary school age children. Shocking that they want to confuse and corrupt young minds with all this gender fluid propaganda. Does Swinney really believe it all or is he just determined to scupper any chance for independence.

Did Swinney preach this nonsense to Trump when he was cosying up to him at the opening of Trump's golf course. Of course he didn't - he is too much of a coward.

Sturgeon/Swinney et al accepted the UK court telling them they couldnae hold Indyref2 without even a whimper of discontent.

Contrast that with their behaviour since the same London court said what the law is on what a woman is. This demonstrates that the SNP leadership are more concerned about this matter than the rights of ALL Scots to self determination.

  13. No, Trump does not and has never 'told it like it is'

He is and always has been, an inveterate pathological liar, from his earlier lies about the (bankrupt) state of his real estate businesses, his lies about not losing that election to Biden, his lies about the real reasons for backing Israel's Genocide in Gaza, his lies about the real reasons for cosying up to fellow dictator Putin, his lies about the real reasons for attacking Venezuela, his lies about the real reasons for threatening Greenland and Denmark and now his blatant repugnant lies about ICE's murder of that completely innocent woman the other day.

He is a fascistic, megamoniacal, racist, malignantly narcissistic, imbecilic sociopath who has surrounded himself with similar human trash and is only supported by other similar human trash.

  15. I see the Commonwealth Games might be missing a flag representing Northern Ireland or the North of Ireland depending on your bias. Officially NI flag is the Union flag but over time the Ulster banner which is a St George’s Cross with a red hand of Ulster on it was being used. Excepting official games such as the Commonwealth I think the ulsterisation of parts of Scotland with unionist flags should be banned as it does not represent the nation of Scotland or for that matter Northern Ireland.

  17. The SNP quite correctly refuse to permit their current, and past politicians from entering the House of Lords, under the banner of the party (if Ian Blackford gets his wish, it’ll be as a cross-bencher).
Why then does the SNP seek to have Mandelson stripped of his peerage? It’s none of our business. If the institutions of the British State want to destroy their credibility from within, then let ‘em.

  18. I see the increasingly creepy wee Bath turd in his latest tone has highlighted the gulf between what the public think and what our politicians actually do.

    He has a point.

Interestingly he doesn't illustrate this point with very recent public polls on the public's huge objection to the UK Govt continuing to sell arms to Israel and to provide that fascist regime with intel support for their continuing genocide in Gaza, nor with the public's opinion that Farage is a fascist and a racist.

    Nope.

No mention of any of that.

Just his usual trans fixation and fanboying for scum like Musk and his version of 'free speech'.

Robison languished in well earned obscurity (various sporting briefs) ‘till she was given her first cabinet position with a substantial budget (Social justice, housing & local government) under Sturgeon. Like her glaikit compatriot, Shirley-Anne Summerville, Robison was chosen specifically because of her lack of intelligence, and her slavish loyalty to the boss. Performance counted for little in the paranoid, and megalomaniac court of Queen Nicola.

  21. Wee Ginger Doggers

The real belly laughs are provided below the line on the dogging site.

Here we have Scottish Skier claiming:- " The protests in Iran are of course very real. I say this as someone with several Iranian colleagues and close friends."
Skier is losing his touch. I haven't read him claiming he has family in Venezuela yet. Perhaps he is just going to jump to claiming a transwoman Inuit relative in Greenland who supports the SNP.

Next belly laugh courtesy of the Skier( aka Declan the Irish Skier when posting on SGP) is this cracker of a Trumpian lie:-" And no, we have not seen the correlation between support for Yes and SNP breaking down."

Meanwhile the Big Dug must have enjoyed my praise of his blog post of the 11th Jan because he has been motivated to write another one "post haste" on the 12th Jan. Astonishingly it is another superb scoop. It can be summed up as Tories are bad people and the really bad ones are joining Reform. UK headlines; RefUK reduced to 4% lead over Tories, -3% week-on-week. Nigel’s chumminess to pirate Trump bites him on the erse.
Plugged into the ElectoralCalculus algorithm you get:
RefUK 51 short of outright majority. Seat projection; Lab on 111, Tories on 79, SNP on 50.
Tories must be within a couple of percentage points of substantially higher numbers of MPs.

    Scottish sub-sample (197)
    Con 9%, Lab 14%, LibDem 13%, SNP 40%, RefUK 17%, Green 4%
Scottish seats; Labour wipe out, LibDems on 5 or 6, Tories retain one seat in south Scotland.

  25. After Greenland, Trump will likely turn his attention to the Canal Zone in Panama (or the country in its entirety, why not, what’s to stop him?). He’s already made noises about the Panama Canal. “Geostrategic asset. We paid for it. Should never have handed it back.”. Same arguments they use in relation to Greenland.
What about Gibraltar after Panama? “Geostrategic asset. Colony of another country (just like Greenland). It’ll just be a change of colonial masters.” I can hear it all.
The fact that Greenlanders, and Gibraltarians would prefer Danish, and British colonial masters matters not a jot to Trump, and his acolytes.
