As a strong supporter of independence for my own country, I am following developments in Scotland with great interest. I am finding it difficult to comprehend the reasoning behind the supporters of Humza Yousaf. I engaged with one such supporter on FB. She was adamant that he was the only choice and mocked Regan, describing her advocacy of a de facto referendum as "a hoot". When I pointed out that that policy was exactly what NS has proposed, this individual assured me that NS would not accept a mere 50+ 1 as it would lead to "civil war"! She went on to blame Salmond before blocking me. Most confusing.
So according to reports Sturgeon's 'fixer' Liz Lloyd tried to bully Forbes to not stand in the leadership. So everybody in Sturgeon's gang promotes Yousaf and this is what Sturgeon believes is not having a preferred candidate. A liar to the end.
