Interview on the Alex Salmond Show
You might remember that during the election campaign in the spring, I was fortunate enough to interview the former First Minister Alex Salmond for the Scot Goes Popcast. Today the roles were reversed, because Mr Salmond interviewed me on the subject of opinion polls for The Alex Salmond Show. The other guest was Professor John Curtice, which will probably be the first and last time in my life that I get joint billing with the great man! The programme has been showing a few times through the day on RT, and I believe there's one more showing at 11.30pm. ReplyDeleteOnly mildly interested in polls but I was hoping that there may have been some discussion in the programme regarding the yes polls going up to 58% and then dropping again.
ReplyDeleteCurtice I always find a bit boring in his delivery. A boring Britnat will certainly never be a hero of mine. Your discussion with Salmond was less boring - well done.
It was good to see Salmond looking well.

ReplyDeleteWho do I refer to - yesindyref2 that's who. After all these years of Sturgeon kidding him on that she will call an independence referendum the poor guy continues with his wishful thinking moniker. Perhaps he should change it to Indyref2yespleasenicola.
So let's have a look at some of this numpties words of wisdom.

I very much doubt Campbell said Murrell was on £300k. If it was ok to publish his salary now why not in previous years. The numpty complete ignores the point that his salary in previous years could have been any other amounts. As a husband and wife completely control the organisation there is nothing to stop them just arbitrarily changing the Chief Exec salary to suit their own ends. The numpties of course completely ignore the fact that a couple controlling an organisation is not seen as good practice or acceptable.
2. " Oh well there's the missing £600,000. Which Sturgeon accurately described, all of them, as cash flow, which exactly what it is internally for any large organisation........."
What utter tripe. It was ring fenced donations for a specific purpose. After 5 years that specific purpose will not have happened and no one has been able to say where the money is in the accounts. There is clearly a problem with these numpties that they have been so conditioned by relentless criticism by Britnats that they are unable to see the truth and make up nonsense to avoid the truth.
3. " So basically GERS fizzled , and with the UK having a 14.2% deficit it makes it hard for unionists to complain about the previous 8.6% deficit because hey the UK is now at 14.2%."
So once again the numpty parrots Sturgeon and implicitly accepts the previous nonsense of Scotland having an 8.6% deficit. Scotland does not have a deficit - YA NUMPTY. Scotland is not an independent country - YA NUMPTY. These figures are all made up UK nonsense but numpties like you engage with them as if they have some validity - YA NUMPTY. Of course the numpty should be asking why does the Scotgov keep producing this anti independence propaganda. But of course being a numpty that might entail some criticism of Sturgeon and that is just beyond their minds to entertain.

ReplyDeleteGot a date for that Paul. Is this the same referendum that the legislation would be passed immediately after the election and held this year? You know the one that posters on SGP were absolutely certain would happen this year. Or is it a different one?
Is it the one that will happen in the far off distant future when the pandemic is but a distant memory in the history books. 6838 new Covid cases today and on an upward trend. 58% yes in the polls fading in to the past.

A numptie ( Dr Jim) even continually disrespects the Gaelic name for Scotland - shameful.

An example, not one of them bother to explain why an elected SNP Treasurer resigns as does 3 other members of the Finance and Audit Committee. DrJim is a nasty numpty. Jim openly confessed that he saw nothing wrong with grabbing a woman by the neck and forcibly removing them from premises. Indeeed he says he has done so himself on many occasions in the past.
A nasty piece of work is the not so good doctor. I wonder what the SNP woke brigade would think about Jim.
Of course the WGD moderator lets nasty Jim abuse anyone he wants. One sided hypocritical moderation on WGD.
