"The joke is over": Now even the SALMOND FAMILY have turned their backs on the shambolic Alba Party

Today brings the news of the resignation of Gail Hendry, Alex Salmond's sister, from the Alba NEC, and indeed after making the video below I was told that several other NEC members (plus at least one high-profile - but unnamed - Alba list candidate) have resigned with her. This of course follows hot on the heels of Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh's resignation as party chair, and suggests that the end for Alba may well be nigh.

  1. With the benefit of hindsight and without personalising it the party probably made a mistake by not electing Chris and Ash last year.

    1. It is a matter of enormous regret to everyone in the Alba Party that Chris McEleny has chosen to personalise this.

  2. Now that everybody's leaving I think I'll join and get an important post. I fancy being Alba spokesperson on spatial awareness. I might get on BBC news shows and become as famous as Ian Murray MP.

  3. Surely it is of second order importance whether a ***relative*** of Alex Salmond resigns from the party?

    1. Not when it's the Salmond Memorial Party and those of the blood are supposed to be reverted and venerated.
