More about the poll showing that Yes supporters want an indyref within a year

Just a quick note to let you know that I have an analysis piece in The National today about the new Redfield & Wilton poll, which shows overwhelming support among Yes supporters for an independence referendum to be held within the next year - you can read it HERE.

Many thanks to everyone who contacted me yesterday to let me know they had nominated me for the Alba Party's NEC before the deadline - I really appreciate it.

  1. Some of your ex posters on SGP having a go at you re promoting yourself on your own blog re Alba.

They seem to have a high level of hate for Alba. Strange that there is not a word from them about the proposed merger with the Greens. Will the SNP soon be renamed the Scottish Rainbow Party and the pretence that they are a party of independence dispensed with.

The reason I do not join political parties is that I would hate to end up like these people on WGD worshipping at the feet of their great leader who is beyond criticism and must always be obeyed.

    1. I'll have a little look. I can't see what their issue is, in all honesty - there's nothing unusual in what I did.

    2. James, of course there is nothing wrong in what you did. They are just desperate to attack you and Alba. They are just PARTY people who are scared Alba will take their number one spot. Note how they never attack the Greens.

  2. Is it true that the SNP are having their conference on zoom?

So nightclubs are open again and Ibrox is filled to the rafters for a European football match courtesy of Sturgeon but she doesn't trust her own members to have a safe in person conference. What a sad joke Sturgeon is. Scared of her own members. The person idiots think is brave enough to take on the British state.

    1. Of course, it could be a money saving exercise to ensure sufficient funds are available to pay all the performance bonuses to the staff who undertook the persecution of Salmond.

    2. Speaking of that persecution.
I can't help notice that some people are letting their personal republicanism get in the way of innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

We just saw 9 woman lie repeatedly in court to attempt to frame an innocent man. How likely is it that one woman 20 years after an event suing a prince for millions of dollars is actually a victim? We've seen the pictures of her all laughing and happy that she's having a prince when her friends are stuck with the HS quarterback.

Prince Andy of Randy may be guilty of Epsteining with other people, but this case stinks.

  3. The numpties on WGD are now moaning about Murdo Fraser, Annie Wells, Liz Fraser. All Tory MSPs. They did have the opportunity to get rid of a lot of these Britnats but they were too much under the mind control of Sturgeon and voted both votes SNP.

They don't even have the self awareness to realise how ridiculous they sound moaning about them now. Sturgeon preferred having Britnats MSPs over independence supporting MSPs. Not the actions of a leader of an independence movement.

  4. THE MICHAEL RUSSELL MOBILE CENTRE FOR INDEPENDENCE

    What an embarrassment!

It could only be made worse if it was getting towed by Del Boys three wheeler.

    Clearly the SNP are skint.

    1. Now I could be completely wrong and Merry Mike has the £600k indyref2 fund and Nicola's secret plan stowed in his horse box.

If this lot hadn't betrayed Scottish independence it might be funny but it is not.

I am embarrassed that I ever gave the SNP a penny.

  5. The numpties on WGD are now turning on the National newspaper for daring to report that Sturgeons sister was arrested and charged. It is a newspaper isn't it? Do the Numpties think it should be renamed The Words of our Great Leader or something like that.

A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal. That would be to the COPFS that Sturgeons newly appointed Lord Advocate is in charge of. The Lord Advocate who is a member of Sturgeons cabinet - will the new Lord Advocate be told " don't you dare prosecute my sister".

The COFS that could be in the middle of running up a bill of over £100 million in malicious damages claims.

  6. WRT your defence of E Roddick for being mentally disabled.

Nobody with any kind of mental disability should be anywhere near parliament or have any influence in lawmaking.

    1. That's a deeply offensive comment, and entirely worthy of you.
