A bit more on that incredible JL Partners poll

Just a quick note to let you know I have a piece in The National about yesterday's JL Partners poll, which showed the pro-independence vote at an all-time high (in online polling) of 56%.  You can read the article HERE.

  2. Sean Connery dies at age 90. Yet another independence supporter passes away without seeing independence due to the Britnat bampot gradualists in the SNP. Get the Britnat saboteurs out of the SNP or a lot more will pass away over future years without seeing Scottish independence.

    1. Only a unuionst would besmirch the big man's memory to attack pro-independece parties like this.

You are totally rumbled, so what's the point? It's only pushing yes/snp higher.

      Please continue.

  3. A good read James and some very interesting finding in that poll.

Regarding government performance, the key is genuinely trying to do what's right. People don't expect miracles. The look at Holyrood and they see their government trying to follow the scientific advice to the best of their ability, even if it means taking flack. Then they see Bozo ignoring the advice until it is too late because he doesn't want to increase personal taxes for wealthy Tories, while at the same time he's breaking international law and threatening to ruin the economy to please Farage types.

It's a no brainer who gets the higher ratings. It's not some idolisation of Sturgeon. Scots don't idolise politicians in such a way. Only unionists seem to do this.

Regarding my usual covid comments; today's figures are again looking consistent with falling cases and % positive.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-53511877

Even hospitalizations and ICU tentatively edging down, as you'd expect to happen a week or two after cases peak.

Deaths have about a 4 week delay on cases, so hopefully these will start to fall within the next couple of weeks too.

It does seem that the measures put in place from late September are working. The new 5 tier system will hopefully continue this progress without the need for national lockdown again.

Reading the headlines, it looks like visitors from England may have to self isolate soon though. If there is an English national lockdown, that will really need to apply as people could try to escape the lockdown there by simply driving to another UK nation, causing new outbreaks in the latter. Those in the most infected /locked down areas are the most likely to try and get out unfortunately, and they are of course the most likely to be infected.

Of course most follow the rules, but there are always the idiots that don't.

  4. You have to ask which idiot at the No 10 strategy department thought it a genius master plan for a posh English Tory wanker to tell Scots unionists that the union was not their choice, and instead they were jock vermin slaves who can only vote with England's permission.

Yes went into majority immediately in response and Johnson's government is hated. What did they expect?
