For those of you planning to watch the Eurovision tonight, I've recorded a short podcast with some scene-setting thoughts, which you can listen to below.

Latest Redfield & Wilton poll on indy, looks like Yes on an extraordinary *49%* of the vote, truly remarkable resilience in the circumstances.

    2. Looks more like 48% to me, it'll be 47% at the absolute minimum. As ever, the real numbers are buried somewhere in the data tables, I'll have a look and put up a blogpost after the Eurovision.

    3. I gave myself 2 options:-
      1) Watch Eurovision.
      2) Self- extract my troublesome tooth.
      I went for option 2.

    4. Option 3 is simply do not watch it. Back to your toys.

  3. I can't watch it because Scotland doesn't have its own entry. Like asking me to support a UK football team. I think we would do well. As the UK(England) is despised in Europe. We are not.

Call yourselves a country? As if. Forget about World Cups, Scotland’s not even won won a Eurovision!

Grow some self respect and cheer for England.

  9. I watched Eurovision last night with my daughter. We both laughed a lot and the best song probably won although I thought the Croatian one was very catchy. Production values and bare body parts have increased exponentially since I last saw this (a fair few years ago to be fair).
