The extra 100 members didn’t walk in off the street or join online, there are screenshots from nationbuilder which point to them being manually input to the system by Corri Wilson (who has since been promoted to Chris McEleny’s old job).
So what was Tasmina’s hold over Alex. It is a very out of character way for him to behave. Why did he give into her? Is it possible Tasmina was not acting in the best interests of Alba or Alex ?

Different figures given but still apparently failed . No it did not .
Surrogacy seems a bit of an 'out there' policy for anyone to have a need or desire to rig a vote result on. Although, from the amount of alleged interference with just about everything in the party structure and with a leader seeming to exercise so much intervention at all levels, you could be forgiven for asking if members were just mushrooms providing subs to provide some kind of playground hobby for high hied yins, their families and friends. Neale Hanvey attempted to have a child via a surrogate on 3 separate occasions. The UN Special Rapporteur says surrogacy is a form of violence against women so i imagine it’s awkward for Hanvey to have publicly bragged about trying to inflict violence against women on three separate occasions
Well Sturgeon cannae really afford to relocate to England at present as her home has been impounded by the Polis. She cannae even live in her motor home as that has been impounded as well. So there was clearly an instruction to the Majid bloc voters to vote 1) Ahmed-Sheikh, 2) Hendry, 3) Ellis-Thompson on the female ballot. To me that looks like the sort of order of preference Salmond himself would have "requested", so it makes perfect sense that Vernal would have been one of the favoured ones in the male ballot.
There weren't enough surplus votes from Hendry to get Ellis-Thompson elected, but due to resignations she was soon on the NEC as a 'lucky loser', so the instruction to the Majid bloc voters did make a big difference.
A good news story for this month. That horrible woman Sandy Brindley has finally done the right thing and resigned from Rape Crisis Scotland. The spokesperson for the alphabetties and all round bampot who saw nothing wrong with a trans woman counselling rape victims should have gone a long time ago.
