An excellent article. I hadn't considered some of the points you made.
Someone is reported to have said "stick your union jack up your ****" which Farage appears to have interpreted as being anti-English, seeming unaware of the fact that the English flag is the St George Cross.
Maybe Nigel thinks that there is only one town in Scotland, Edinburgh, and that Donside is pretty remote and inaccessible to all but the most intrepid traveller.
I believe that the candidate is an Edinburgh man, and they were going to do the launch together... without the bother of travelling into the unknown north!
I noted that one of the correspondents on your piece pointed out that it was in fact a Labour man who organised the demonstration. Not just a Labour supporter, but a man who is a full time student union organiser, supported by the Labour party.
I wonder what Ms Lamont, or probably more likely Ms Curren, will have to say about that.
interesting to see the PB horde of Scotophobes, EU-phobes and outright nazis. ( we know who he is) Are getting so upset about the farage-caust when the self same loons went into gusset dissolving paroxysms of ecstasy when Alex Salmond was booed by a different labour rentamob.
