Just a quick note to let you know that myself and Peter Arnott are the guests on this week's edition of the
Newsnet podcast, hosted by Maurice Smith. We discuss Chilcot, Theresa May's ministerial appointments, the forthcoming Brexit negotiations, the prospects for a second independence referendum....and, well, basically the epic chaos this country currently finds itself in. You can listen to the podcast
HERE.
The country is not in chaos. The media are in their usual make it up as they go along mode. Better ignoring them. Well done Farage you fucked the idol would be EU politicians. Just more back stabbing at home for the political posts.

Delete62% of Scots voted to stay in the EU.Over 50% want to leave the UK according to polls.Less than 25% support the London Tory government. The majority of MSPs support independence. The vast majority of Scottish MPs support independence.Every day a hundred unionists die and are replaced on the electoral register with open minded young Scots.Where will this lead?
ReplyDeleteSo you think hard working young people want to pay their tax to a bunch of non productive nonentities and their bits on the side who are milking them in the Bruxelles and Strasbourg restaurants.
DeleteScotland will vote for Independence when the next Independence Referendum is held.
DeleteWow. So it's better to pay it to Tories who spend it yachting the Mediterranean?

DeleteGlasgow working class is a paid fascist troll
ReplyDeleteGlasgow Working Class 2 is a lady called Nadine from Essex whose ex husband was Scottish. She tends to drink too much then go on the internet. She's a bit emotional and raw.
ReplyDeleteThe troll also advocates arming Leave campaigners to "defend democracy", uses racial and ethnic slurs while claiming they're not insults, and displays a strange and poisonous obsession with the First Minister and her predecessor.
DeleteThe symbolism of May coming to Edinburgh should tell us what Scotland's real position in the UK union is and more importantly, how it is regarded by the Westminster establishment.
ReplyDeleteShe didn't,as far as I know, beat a path to Stormont or Cardiff to discuss the exit arrangements with those "devolved" administrations and despite what some of the Uncle Toms in Scotland claim, the main purpose of her visit was not to speak with the Tank Commander.
She (May) knows that she cannot go into negotiations with the EU until Scotland's position is made clear and that will depend on detailed discussions between Brussels and Holyrood having taken place first.
The London politicians and their press pack can postulate all they like about Scotland not being "allowed" to do this or that but the reality is that we are a sovereign nation, voluntarily within a political union and we Scots will decide our future, not politicians in another country.
May has got a mandate from the British to leave the EU. She should not have put any importance on knickerless and did not have to visit her. If the jokes want another referendum then so be it. If the jokes want a closed border with England then so be it. If the jokes want the euro and be dominated by Kaiser Markel then so be it. Just let the English vote in the referendum and you will win hands down.
DeleteYou are so generous.
DeleteHowever,May is PM and you are not and clearly for very good reasons.
Indeed May is the PM and will negotiate Brexit not knickerless. It was an all British referendum and over a million Scots voted to leave the criminal Mafia ridden EU.
DeleteJust goes to show that Scotland has decent sensible people inspite of the Nat sis.

ReplyDeleteMartin McGuinness: if NI has a Brexit veto, I believe I can deliver an Assembly vote to stop it
Some PIRA commanders put a stop to many a life and jokingly in the name of socialism.
DeleteSend Boris, Fox and Davis over to NI with a promise of £350 million a week on the NHS. That'll sort it out.
DeleteI mean obviously, May isn't fully expecting the Brexiteer dimwits to fall flat on their face when it comes to producing a workable deal acceptable to all. Just so May can blame them and make sure it is they who have to beg for more time which May will use to kick the tory EU split into the long grass.
Obviously not.
You are clutching at straw dimwit which seems to be a Nat si habit. Eat yer porrige fash bhoy and get aff yer knees for goodness sake. Better being a UK partner than a Fourth Reich satellite.

DeleteBut May was a Brexitee.... Oh riiiiight. She wasn't. ;o)

ReplyDeleteUS state department official actually giggles at the news of Boris Johnson's appointment.
Nat si clones tae vote against Trident even the wans that agree with it. Pretending it could be turned into a NATO naval base. The main partner of NATO the USA want Trident retained in Faslane. The truth is is that the Nat sis are deep down against NATO. They only voted for it as a vote winning ploy before the Jock referendum.

The Nat si repetitive disease is going viral on here. We will have Trident we will have Brexit we will have the British Union. Knickerless is inept as Kin Jung Eck was. Who will be the next Nat si idiot sponger.
ReplyDeleteHopefully, we will be so toxic, so viral that you will fuck off.
DeleteDuggie, I am immune from Nat si ism, been fighting it all my working life. What happened to all that Nat si crap about ending food banks, taxing the better off and restoring welfare payments! I knew you scumbags were lying.

James,
ReplyDeleteThanks for that. It was interesting. Unlike some of the comments below....
You really ought to think about that.
James, are there no more polls? I count on you above all others to keep me sane. If there is more info, or you have an inkling, please keep us in the loop.
