If this Makerfield by-election poll is accurate, it's the end of the road for Keir Starmer as Prime Minister

  1. It’s been clear for a while Reform have made a foolish choice as candidate. There’s no chance anyone but Burnham is going to win.

    1. Foolish choice? Clacton voted for an absentee MP, Farage and Ashfield voted for 30p Lee, hardly brain of Britain.

  3. Burnham is a centralist and has little time for the “provinces”

  4. A recovering Labour under PM Burnham would likely put more scrutiny back onto Swinney which can only be a good thing.
The SNP can draw a line under Murrell by ditching Swinney and installing Stephen Flynn.
It's the only way I can see that we're going to move forward positively. Hanging on grimly while more sleaze is inevitably uncovered is not going to do Indy any favours.
