Wee Dougie's been to bend the boss's ear. The nuclear bunker grade concrete has been applied to the crack in the constitutional dam.

DeleteBurnham has informed Scotland that we are not equal to others and that we are definitely not in a union of any kind
ReplyDeleteScotland has been informed that our country is the occupied territory of England, so those who believed they were unionists were lied to as well as the rest of us
Scotland has been informed by the English government that our country is in the same position as Ireland was before they took their country back from occupation
Nationalist bull.
Delete6.22 spot on comment.
Delete6.22 pm Absolutely dead on the money
DeleteMore of a colony than a country really
Delete8:22 spot on, it is bull!
Delete8.29 is KC talking to himself again.
DeleteWould people please stop swearing, I have no option but to delete those comments.
ReplyDeleteIs twunt ok? We need to know.
DeleteIt was never a thing. People got carried away over the extent of Northern Ireland's self-determination "rights", which gives a sneaky veto to the SoSfNI.
ReplyDeleteA comparable provision for Scotland would simply give that veto to Douglas Alexander. That seems like a complete waste of time.
A very good article by Brian Taylor in the Herald:

Personally I think Swinney correctly leapt straight in on Burnham's Big Blunder, and pinned it to the wall for all to see, no messing about.
He does indeed need to keep with the chisel and hammer at the crack in the U¬K.
Oh by all means we should be loudly pointing out the significance of what Burnham said and the contradictions within it. But what we shouldn't do is deceive ourselves into thinking that it represents substantive progress towards the UK government actually granting a referendum in the real world, or that one more heave (or fifteen more heaves) will get us to that goal.
DeleteJames at 11.09am. 100% correct.
DeleteAs I actually said however, Swinney was fast on his feet and needs to keep chipping away at the crack in the U¬¬K.
DeleteLabour had plenty of time from Tony Blair and tories John Major to promote the same process as NI. The fact it’s now suggested indicates an increasing concern by britnats.
ReplyDeleteBoth countries get independence referenda if there is a clear consensus that one is wanted. So far, such a consensus does not exist in either country.
ReplyDeleteIndeed.
DeleteThough, incredibly, there are some who would have us believe a clear consensus does exist!
11.38 and 12.14 are KC.
DeleteYes. He's not exactly the master of disguise, is he. "It is I, Leclerc."
DeleteLOL.
Delete12:14 was me, however 11:38 WASN’T.
Good to see I’ve got a wee bit of support on here 😀
They were both you. The "one was me and the other WASN'T" thing is every bit as much a part of your standard repertoire as the Nessie material.
DeleteTrump has just openly said the a united Ireland would be a great thing and he is in favour of it.
ReplyDeleteCue a frothing melt-down of Ulster Unionists who had him as their idol.
The Orange Blimp has caused Orange-Stauncher Outrage.
Trump also says he’s in favour of the US owning Greenland and the Gulf of Mexico being renamed Gulf of America (amongst many other crazy ideas).
DeleteI suppose Trump will now be a hero amongst nationalists!
Trump’s hero is your hero Churchill.
DeleteAre you a Trump fanboy, KC?
DeleteI believe you are.
KC is a Trumpfannyboy.
DeleteTrump's only trying to be like the British are
DeleteMind you, if it really were indyref2, the SNP is at its weakest.
ReplyDeleteSNP are strong, many points ahead in the poles. Swinney a popular leader with ordinary people.
DeleteIs ALBA fighting back? What happened to the monies
ReplyDeleteYes, ALBA have now decided to stand in the 2023 Rutherglen by election.
DeleteSeriously? ALBA have wound up i believe.
DeleteWas going to wear my kilt in Glasgow one day next week but it’s probably not worth it as I’ll probably be branded a right wing racist and arrested
DeleteFunny how desperate the Brits are that they're once again trying count the people who never vote on anything as though they would be unionists if they did vote
DeleteUp to 15% of the population do not vote, so they do not count
1.08 Sorry, but that simply isn't true. The Union is the status quo. Those who don't vote or say don't know in polling have clearly turned their back on the Union and should be counted as pro independence.
DeleteScottish Skier of WGD pioneered this concept and he's a man of science and career statistician. He's not going to jeopardize his reputation by talking arrant nonsense, is he?
