Why is YouGov under-representing Yes-voting Glaswegians in its independence polling?

Towards the end of this video, I also give my reaction to the Scottish Government's welcome announcement that they will not be supporting Ash Regan's private member's bill, which seeks to introduce the Nordic Model on prostitution law in Scotland.  This should make it very unlikely that the bill, which would have been extremely harmful, will pass.

There aren't many outlets that report Scottish polling accurately and without unionist bias.  If you value the service Scot Goes Pop provides, you currently have a thrilling opportunity to help with the stopgap fundraiser I am running to keep the lights on during the transitional period while I try to get sorted with a more sustainable funding model (ideally on YouTube but possibly on something like Substack).

If you'd like to donate, there are three main options:

PayPal donations can be made directly to my PayPal email address, which is:  jkellysta@yahoo.co.uk

For bank transfers, just drop me a quick line at icehouse.250@gmail.com and I'll send you the necessary details.

Card donations can be made at the GoFundMe crowdfunding page HERE.

A million thanks to everyone who has donated so far.

  2. Irrelevant, but I see another grand Labour Party gentleman has been caught chasing the money. What is it with Labour and millionaires?

A comic tale about Mandelson years back when he was touting himself around northeast England trying to become an MP, followed by adoring TV cameras. Playing at being a man of the people, he visited a chip shop, placed his order then saw a tub of mushy peas whereupon he confirmed his working man credentials by saying "And I'll have some of your guacamole dip".

  3. Hi
I obviously don't agree that it should be insinuated politicians are prostitute users if they are against the Nordic model but I'm not sure only users have a "vested interest". everyone has a vested interest in debating whether we're the kind of society which tacitly accepts prostitutes or believes it's a social ill.
I dont know what mh view on it is, need to see the detail but I'm not convinced doing nothing is a good thing either

  4. On WGD btl Dr Jim says:- " More information spewing out of these Epstein files reveals that Epstein and as yet unnamed others were discussing the financial opportunities that would be open to them in the event of Scottish independence "

Jimbo the feels the need to add in a subsequent post:- " This was in the run up to the 2014 referendum btw"

Well Jimbo, it was hardly ever going to be after 2014 when the devolutionist Sturgeon gang were in power.

Anyone think financiers/investors in 2026 are discussing similar points after hearing Swinney's plan for Scottish independence.

    4. Get real IFS who would be giving out information about what to invest in if Scotland had voted for independence in 2014 ? it couldn't have been Sturgeon, she wouldn't have been the FM so not in a position to dole out the favourable financial deals

    5. you're fooling nobody Dr Jim at 8.57pm and 9.08pm. Did Sturgeon tell you that in person Dr Jim? Was she identifying as a man or a woman that day? More importantly was she supporting independence or Westminster that day? Must be confusing being non binary - did you ask her?

  5. It's a small world right enough.

A declassified FBI memo from the Epstein files, released on Friday, includes incendiary allegations about US President Donald Trump.

The memo says that Trump was “compromised by Israel”, that convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein worked with Israeli intelligence (MOSSAD), and that a Jewish religious group calling itself Chabad-Lubavitch sought to hijack his first term in office.

Pretty much nailed on from previous exposes around Epstein, that he was indeed a MOSSAD agent.

From those same Files, it has been established that Epstein and Bannon were funding and controlling far right parties in Europe and Farage/Reform in the UK.

So it follows that at least part of the control over Farage's puppet strings were and still are being pulled by THE most fascistic, vicious, murderous, genocidal secret services on the planet, Israel's MOSSAD.

As has been said many times before, Reform are a racist, fascist gutter-trash of a party and the fact that they appear be under even partial control of the MOSSAD Nazis and their agents makes them beyond the pale for most decent voters.

  6. Isn't it the case that the methodology used to collate these polls will always favour a result desired by the British rather than a factual account of reality?
