Ipsos poll puts support for independence at 52% - and says it will go higher if Farage is PM

Should Scotland be an independent country?  (Ipsos / STV)

Yes 52%
No 48%

I have an analysis piece about this poll at The National, which you can read HERE.  I'm also going to try to make a video about the poll later on - apart from the independence numbers, there are voting intention numbers for Holyrood, net ratings for party leaders, and a question about whether voters will be more likely to back independence if Reform win the general election.

    2. Most of them will have parents.

It's an interesting development in the scotlands biggest yes city and closing our eyes to a strategy, positive or otherwise won't help

  2. Thoughts and prayers for Wee Stewie as he struggles to come to terms with the Sandy Peggie verdict.

    1. 8.23 are you one of these nutters that thinks a man can miraculously turn in to a woman by just saying he is a woman? Are you Ross Greer?

    2. A decade ago Wee Stewie was the darling of Robin McAlpine and radical independence supporters. He's now, quite literally, the toast of Alex Massie and the Scottish Tory Party. He seems to regard that as progress, even if few of the rest of us do.

    3. If Wee Stewie had to choose between freedom for Scotland and a successful appeal in the Sandie Peggie case, which would he choose?

No contest. Peggie all the way.

    5. I see Constantine Mudge is writing articles about Terceira in the Azores for a travel website. Some people have no shame. "Send my cheque to the Liechtenstein address, darling.". No words.

    6. Sandy Peggy did not win. It’s not football. The majority of findings were against Peggy.

    7. It would have been in the SNP's interests if the tribunal had found more in Sandie Peggie's favour. It does them no good whatsoever to have the trans debate rumble on.
