Tally-ho! And off we go...
Just a quick note to let you know that I have a short article at the International Business Times, about the SNP's straight sets victory over David Cameron on the fox hunting issue. You can read it HERE. (It's also on Yahoo HERE.)
An astute article from James. The SNP does what the Tories want them to do because it helps both sides. There will be plenty more of the same over the coming years. The one thing on which they will not agree is a second independence referendum. Solving that is the SNP's big challenge.
Holyrood, after next year's election, and hopefully with it another SNP majority, should just go ahead and call the 2nd referendum regardless of Westminster and any unionist boycott.
If they want their own parliament I wish theyd just bloody get on with it. There must be potential for agreement between SNP and English Tories for somehing like 4 separate parliaments plus a senate type arrangement for nothing but UK defence, macrotaxation and foreign affairs of the kind sir roger gale mentioned on radio scotland last night.
Indyref2 will simply fail and leave us a square 1 without some earthquake to shift the polls.
An astute comment from Jeff. Independence is inevitable, and Jeff is absolutely correct to point that out. As he so rightly says, it's the only way of making Scotland a fairer and more prosperous country.
Alternatively, "Jeff", you could just have the words "I AM A TROLL" tattooed on your forehead, and save us all time.
I've been very busy recently but it's good to see that out of touch twats like Simon are still utterly clueless about scottish politics and politics in general. Nor should you be overly perturbed about the few westmisnter bubble fuckwits from Stormfront Lite PB spamming you of late. Let's face facts, it's not as if they have a whole hell of a lot to be happy about considering just how comically incompetent the tories are being. Nor can the Pouter types be overly pleased to see that our support is simply growing stronger for Holyrood which explains their inept spamming and fury.
The red-faced impotent SHRIEKING at the top of their lungs across the media - from right-wing fox torturing twats - is superb though, and in a class of it's own.
PURE COMEDY GOLD! :-D
The sheer 'genius' of the Cameron and Osbrowne 'master srategy' to go to the wall on Foxhunting and make IT their defining case for EVEL is simply breathtaking.
Short of trying to introduce a law for the right of Bullingdon Boys to piss on the homeless and burn money in front of them, you would be hard pushed to find something as perfect to utterly encapsulate how stupendously out of touch, uncivilised and repulsive the nasty party are.
That's what you have to remember when you see the far-rght screeching of westminster bubble fools furious at scottish MPs voting with their conscience. They are the type of low IQ morons and thugs who don't see a problem with torturing small woodland animals to death and using that as an example of how unfair it is that scottish MPs can oppose it.
The fact that Cameron was forced to cancel the vote and look like a coward yet again makes the petulant wailing from the Cameroons that this was all 'planned' just that much more hilarious.
A lot like the revelation that Cameron and the UK government are on the hook to pay for the next Greek bailout. That was also 'planned' by the incompetent fop then? Hmmmm?
So now the snp have stopped the tories relaxing hunting legislation in England and Wales so that it was in line with Scottish laws can we hope that holyrood does something more to tighten the ban in Scotland? Perhaps a good time to bring this up with your respective smp's!
Amazing how many sneering unionist twats are making this very point all over the comment threads when actual Scottish people know that the law in Scotland is being reviewed and will almost certainly be strengthened.

James, I can only apologise for having opinions that are not like yours.
DeleteAlas, "Jeff", the problem is somewhat more advanced than that.
DeleteThe problem is that you keep insisting that I have opinions that are not like mine.
Do feel free to apologise for the actual nature of your trolling. Or, better still, STOP DOING IT.
Excellent article James.

DeleteAnd what is an smp?
Begone spambot!
I know it sounds a little sad, but it feels like there's a big gap in my life without a regular 10PM poll to look forward to. Sigh...
ReplyDeleteDon't worry. Indyref2 polls will be along soon - shortly after the introduction of EVEL and English fox-hunting.
