I don't know anywhere in the world where there is so much fuss over supporting or not supporting a neighbouring country's football team. <br /><br />If you think about it, if Scots, Welsh and Northern Irish automatically think of England as, "our team", or more generally if each UK team gets automatic support from the other team supporters in the UK when they're playing what's the point of having four teams?<br /><br />England's not my country and if they win or lose doesn't bother me. It's the media that makes me want England to lose. The problem is that as the UK media is the English media in all but name we in Scotland will have to listen to someone else's triumphalism for the next 50 years if England win.
