Trust levels worldwide with the BBC can be attributed to three main factors.
ReplyDeleteLegacy: The BBC was once free to reflect the opinions of its journalistic staff. The Birmingham six and the Guilford four had their convictions quashed partly as a result of Panorama and ITV’s competing, flagship current affairs platform World In Action.
Alternatives: There ain’t much competition out there. The oligarch press and other national broadcasters who are even worse than the BBC (Al Jazeera are broadly better but for obvious reasons they won’t criticise Qatar).
Subtlety: BBC bias doesn’t take the form of screeching, Pyongyang propaganda. Editorial policy selects certain permitted word and phrases. The health infrastructure in Gaza “crumbled”. Err, no it didn’t. Medieval castles crumble. The hospitals in Gaza had 2,000 lb bombs dropped on them, after which demolition teams moved in and raised the remaining structures to rubble.
The BBC messed up big time with the Question Time / Menthorn Media / Billy Mitchell scandal. The Scottish Government could have taken an adversarial approach and forced changes. Instead, they opted to let the BBC off the hook.
ReplyDeletePerhaps they made the naïve calculation that having been caught out practicing outrageous bias against Scottish independence, the BBC would proactively correct its behaviour?
Perhaps the fact that the politicians and the journalists move in the same social circles caused the Scottish Government to show some squeamishness towards wielding the knife towards their “friends”?
Perhaps Nicola Sturgeon’s fixation with gender politics caused her to declare “sisterly solidarity” with the head of BBC Scotland, Donalda MacKinnon (breaking the glass ceiling and all that)?
Oh here we go -its nicolas fault! Try another tune.
Delete“ Try another tune” why because you don’t like the truth.
DeleteBilly Mitchell an orangeman. He stood for Ukip at a by-election and got 34 votes.
Delete34 votes ? ATLS look on in envy !
DeleteThe current iteration of “D notices” are being used with a frequency I can’t remember from previous decades.
ReplyDeleteThe Keir Starmer arson trial would be a prime example.
As soon as the guilty verdicts were in, the BBC’s Panorama programme put out their version of what happened. In their account, “el Money” was a single person. During the trial (covered by independent journalists) el Money was revealed to be multiple people including one woman. Why would the BBC alter this trivial detail? It didn’t alter their basic thesis, that a Russian security service was behind the operation. Although no absolute proof of their thesis is available, it’s a racing certainty that the FSB or GRU were manipulating the hapless stooges.
Perhaps it’s policy to insert a little untruthfulness into every narrative to keep the public permanently exposed to the propaganda? The little lies will dull the sensibilities of the public for when it’s time to deliver the big lie.
An excellent video James, delivered with great passion and clarity, in which I agreed with everything you said.
ReplyDeleteAnother topic is BBC staff who are sexual offenders. There has been a long long list of them over many decades but none of the coverage of their guilty staff got anywhere near the levels of negative coverage that Salmond endured and he was acquitted. Similarly poor old Cliff Richard got it bad from the BBC ( he was innocent as well ) compared to the BBC’s own guilty staff.
A second topic is Scotland’s oil and gas. The BBC were very happy to continually say the oil would run out in 10 years during the referendum in 2014. 12 years on there is never a word about this as they debate whether NEW UK oil and gas fields should be opened.
When push comes to shove the BBC is just another state propaganda broadcaster who used to do a better job at hiding its true role.
I have to say it’s quite sad that all independence supporters seem to do these days is slag off the English/England/Westminster/the UK PM/the BBC, etc. It appears it’s all they have left.
ReplyDeleteNobody can put forward a case for independence, and certainly not an economic case. It just seems to be independence at all costs , and to hell with the consequences! For a lot of people their desire for independence seems driven by a hatred/dislike for England and the English. This attitude, of course, puts a lot of people off independence, and certainly won’t convert undecideds and soft No voters.
A few days ago I challenged Scot Goes Poppers to give me the so called “benefits of Indy”, but got virtually no response, other than personal abuse.
Says it all!
Norway's 2.3 trillion dollar wealth fund says it all. The cost of being controlled by Westminster or as economists would say the opportunity cost if Scotland had any choice. We don't have a choice do we. Westminster just closes any business/operation it wants in Scotland and helps itself to Scotland's resources. England has been looting Scotland of its resources since 1707 and then Britnats say we are too poor too wee too stupid. It's the people who live in Scotland and expect Westminster to care about Scotland and Scots who are stupid. They don't care about Scotland. They use it as a dumping ground for nuclear waste and use their control of the media in Scotland to keep people misinformed.
DeleteAnd the benefits of being run by Westminster are what?. Though I must admit Holyrood is making a pigs lug of most things too. Glasgow, sanctuary city. How’s that panning out ae and the way things are going it won’t be long till Scotland is a sanctuary country aided and abetted by the SNP.
DeleteSo, no “benefits of Indy” from anon@9:54!
DeleteUsual nonsense from Ifs@9:43.
KC no answer to my post but just silly abuse. The Norwegians won't think its nonsense to have a sovereign wealth fund of 2.3 trillion dollars rather than be chained to and controlled by a Westminster with a debt just below £3 trillion at end of July. This debt has increased from £0.8 trillion in 2010 to the near £3 trillion 16 years later. So despite Cameron's austerity years and the current cost of living crisis the UK ( England ) is racking up the debt at a rate that shows the UK is a failing state. England is going down and taking us with them. Or we could have been like Norway and be a very wealthy country. But hey the Britnat KC tells you we are better together. What a sick joke.
DeleteOh dear Ifs, I’ve rattled your cage this morning!
DeleteI’ve made several very valid points regarding independence, numerous times over the past week or so, which nobody has addressed! Just personal abuse and disgraceful anti English stuff.
I’ve got better things to do today than repeat them once again, and argue with you! We’ll leave it at that.
In the words of the great Sir Winston Churchill, on VE Day,
Advance Britannia
God save the King.
Anon at 9.54 am .... migration and the housing of migrants is reserved to Westminster. Nothing to do with the SNP.
DeleteKC “has better things to do” bye bye KC don’t hurry back.
DeleteThe BBC in Scotland must be furious that despite all that investment in Sarwar since 2021 the voters in Glasgow didn't elect him in his FPTP seat. The product being sold to the voters was dodgy so I am not surprised that didn't work. All this recent Glasgow negativity is the BBC getting its revenge.
ReplyDeleteThe BBC Britnat journalists trashing the place they work and live in.
DeleteEmbarrassing comment from Ifs@10:06.
DeleteOh dear!
Benefits from being an independent country. Ask Norway the same question or any other country really. We have a population of about 5.5 million with 2/3 the land mass of England with most of the natural resources of the so called UK here in Scotland and if we get our arses in gear and use these resources to the benefit of the people in Scotland, see Norway, do you honestly think that Scotland is too poor or too wee to run our own affairs.
DeleteIFSY the pretendy Indy guy trashing the only party in a position to progress Indy.
DeleteAnon@10:48am,
DeleteThe chances of a Chinese tourist capturing a photo of Nessie with his head above the surface of Loch Ness are higher than you lot ever getting your independence!
Anon Britnat at 11.01am happy that Sturgeon’s gang trashed the SNP. If you have been paying attention on SGL you will have seen that the poster who calls me IFSY posts nothing but abuse. Not a word on any subject. Just abuse of other posters. KC is the obvious Britnat on SGP this anon is one as well. He posts NOTHING advocating independence.
DeleteKC shows his complete disdain for more than 50% of the population of Scotland by calling us " you lot".
DeleteMarcia at 9.15am used to call me a Unionist back in the years 2020/21. She disnae now because I have been proven correct about Sturgeon and her gang. It's not me who has damaged the SNP and Scottish independence it's the people who blindly supported her.
Ifs,

ReplyDeleteIn 1916, how many supporters of nascent, nano-party, Sinn Féin were told to:
“Hold the course, put your faith in the Irish Parliamentary Party. I know it looks like they’ve settled into a comfortable life at Westminster, but they’re just biding their time for the big moment.
Trust John Redmond, he has a cunning plan so secret that he can’t divulge it to humble foot soldiers like us.”.
Six years later, marked by failure, and inaction, the Irish Parliamentary Party dissolved.
The BBC Scotland bias that really struck me was when the reporter didn't refer to the Tory health spokesman as 'Doctor' despite him being a practicing GP, but the SNP interviewee was 'Doctor' in the most fawning terms, despite not having practiced medicine for a decade. And when this was pointed out by the GP no apology / correction was forthcoming. I don't think that would happen on Radio 4.
ReplyDeleteDearie me, the SNPee below 30%!
ReplyDeleteBBC, as that brilliant and proper investigative journalist John Pilger rightly stated -
ReplyDelete"The BBC acts as a powerful arm of the British establishment and a refined global propaganda service".
He was spot on.
A British Pravda.
From allowing Bitter Together to actually use part of a BBC premises to spout its lying, fearmongering propaganda-bile at Scots in 2014, to framing almost every single narrative as if the 'precious union' was the norm, when in fact it is a complete outlier globally and BBC presenters literally spitting venom at some Pro-Indy advocates in so-called 'neutral interviews', that organisation certainly lived up to its charter promise to maintain the union.
No wonder poor wee yoonies love it.
Without it and the almost totally union-biased Scottish/UK Press, Scotland would have chosen independence 12 years ago - and they know it.
Oh dear!
DeleteA desperate individual who still can’t accept its game over for “Indy”.
Couldn't agree more.
DeleteThere is a reason that WM rigorously controls national broadcasting and completely refuses to devolve it.
They know its power and are absolutely terrified of losing that power to hugely influence the voting public..
If Scotland had had a decent, almost evenly split national broadcaster and written press in 2014, to more accurately reflect both sides of the Indy debate, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Scotland would have voted Yes and become an independent country.
WM routinely stack the deck in its favour in every way it can and that most definitely includes its use of the national broadcaster.
The UK is a fake union. Scotland is England's de facto colony. There is no real democracy in Scotland it is fake. Scotland's MPs will always be overruled by England's MPs. Scotland's vote in a critical referendum, the EU, can just be ignored. If Westminster disnae like something from Holyrood it just overrules it. This is not democracy it is subservience, subjugation and humiliation. It sure ain't no consensual union. It never was from the start. If this is a family of nations then it was a forced marriage where Scotland gets screwed decade after decade century after century. What have the SNP done over the last 12 years to remedy this situation - NOTHING.
ReplyDeleteAch there's always the ATLS !
DeleteIfS takes a lot of abuse on here but I very rarely disagree with any of his views regarding the SNP or independence for Scotland.
DeleteWhat have you done? You are on record here confirming that you have never staffed an Indy stand, knocked a door, handed out a leaflet or canvassed. And your comments are not your ideas. They are pretty much copy and paste from PJB and a few others with strong opinions and good knowledge of the Colony issue. You have none. Your hatred of N S and the SNP is well known. I’ll repeat the question. What have you done?
DeleteWhat has the SNP done to further the cause of independence post Alex Salmond
DeleteAnon at 4.47. Not a lot, but two sources of inactivity do not cancel each other out.
DeleteIfs, you don’t half spout some nonsense!
DeleteI mean, “de facto colony”! LOL.
The vast majority of the Scottish people will have no clue what you’re prattling on about!
Dear oh dear.
Anon Britnat troll at 4.38pm. I know what you do on SGP. You post a load of lies about me. That is your only contribution on SGP.
DeleteI have said many times on SGP that you lie that I am “on record here” da de da de da. Tiresome lying troll.
I see now you have been racking your brain and come up with another lie. My words are my own unless I put them in “ “ . I do not and never have read PJB.
I have told you before I don’t hate the SNP I want the SNP to change its leadership. You don’t because you are a Britnat. I don’t even hate Sturgeon. She is a crook and should be held to account. On the other hand you clearly hate me for pushing for independence on SGP.
Listen up Britnat anon I don’t answer to Britnats like you who are pretty despicable characters. It’s sad that you get triggered so quickly when I post on SGP but I do find Britnats are not keen on my posts. My advice to you - watch your blood pressure.
Anon at 4.18pm I do take a lot of abuse on SGP but they are mostly ignorant bullies hiding behind the anon crowd. They will not stop me giving my opinion. Most of them would be happy in any extreme authoritarian state that suppresses free speech.
DeleteKC you said you had better things to do. You didnae stay away long did you. You weren’t missed.
DeleteIFSY at 5.22. No answer then? You have done SFA for Indy you pathetic wee troll.. And you are on record saying it. Do you deny it? Your past doesn't go away.
DeleteAnonymous@11.11pm out of interest what have you done for independence?
DeleteAnon Britnat troll at 11.11pm has NEVER denied he is a Britnat troll. Unlike KC he is the sneaky type that tries to kid on he supports independence but all he does is post abuse on SGP. Like KC when you answer him he then kids on you haven’t answered him in a subsequent post. They are both cut from the same nasty lying Britnat cloth.
DeleteWell Ifs, you’ve certainly got out the wrong side of the bed this morning!
DeleteI’m afraid nobody on here, yourself included, have addressed my question properly. A question I’ve asked repeatedly for the last week or so, namely what are these so called “benefits of Indy”, that people on here keep going on about? The only response I’ve had is abuse. Pretty sad I’m sure you’ll agree!
Also of course, the really important issues regarding independence, the issues that really matter to Scots, have never been addressed in a satisfactory way. They weren’t addressed in 2014, and still haven’t been! For example, border with our biggest trading partner by far(England), currency, pensions(a big big issue for older voters, replacing the billions we receive from Westminster every year through the Barnett Formula, etc, etc. I could go on, but you get my point!
Come on Ifs, the stage is yours!
If no satisfactory response is received, from yourself or anyone else, I shall, like many others, come to the obvious conclusion that the desire for independence, for most, is driven through a hatred or at the very least a dislike for England/the English/Westminster/the BBC.
Seriously, if the points I’ve made above can’t be addressed properly, what hope do you have of converting undecideds and soft No voters regarding independence?
DeleteIf KC is Westminsters best man then they are in big trouble.
DeleteSince Plonker has, as usual, made no effort to reply sensibly to KC, here's some thought provoking reading for KC about colonies, and how Scotland could indeed be classified as a colony, denied the right to self-determination by the repeated refusal of the "mother power" to "grant" a referendum on Independence:
Deletehttps://archive.is/eGqoq
"‘Scotland is not a colony’, and other myths that need cleared up"
Good laugh over on WOS. A moronic video statement by a Labour politician. Usual lies and disinformation but there is a pile in by one of his half wits who immediately assumed it was the SNP and started slagging them off. Campbell must love these muppets. Kerrching.
ReplyDeleteDoes that make you halfwit for visiting his site and reading the comments
DeleteThe Britnat troll at 4.58pm condemns anyone reading or mentioning WOS but regularly reads and comments about it on SGP.
DeleteThe old double standards and hypocrisy of a Britnat.
Nopes. Got me beat this one
DeleteYou keep an eye on the opposition you morons. How much money have you given Campbell? Be truthful now. Interesting that you clearly support Campbell and his cretins. Kerrching.
DeleteMore to the point is , how much money I’ve given over the years to the SNP including the ring fenced referendum money for absolutely hee haw towards said goal. Not a penny or a second of my time ever again till there’s a clear out of the charlatans, grifters, liars and the perjury ridden alphabeties at the top of the SNP at this moment

DeleteIn September 2004, Yusuf Islam, formerly Cat Stevens, formerly Steven Demetre Georgiou was on a scheduled passenger flight to New York when it was diverted to Bangor, Maine. Yusuf was detained by officers of the Department of Homeland Security.
ReplyDeleteYusuf was on his way to work with Dolly Parton.
Big problem! Dolly picked up the phone to phone phoney cowboy and cretinous President of the United States, George W Bush.
Oh to have been the switchboard operator at the White House that night.
God / Allah bless you Dolly, you’ll be fair missed.
Cat Stevens was a twat. Refusing to shake hands with a woman and halloweened up like a villager from the Wakhan Corridor rather than a rather well-to-do Londoner. What a arsehole.
DeleteYou just wish you could write songs like him
Deleteother examples of bbc clear bias is when the fable was invented by Carmichael then SoSS along with The Tory newspapers and bbc came in not to interrogate the sources of the lies - they already knew what was happening but went out on live TV to promulgate the lies. One of many disgraceful episodes which the NUJ keep their mouths tightly shut.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the SNP currently doing to progress towards Independence? It has lost it’s previously justified claim to competent government, and although it still outperforms the rest of the U K in terms of NHS, Education, and Social Care provision, being the best of a poor lot isn’t really a good basis to continue offering them support. Labour is a busted flush in Scotland for the foreseeable future and the Burnham bounce failed to materialise. The tories/Reform/Restore continue tearing each other apart. Lib Dem? What direction is the wind blowing? The benefits of Independence should be front and centre in everything the S G does but it’s nowhere to be seen. Is this current SNP/SG the modern version of a parcel o rogues? Discussion please, not knee jerk reaction and vitriol for daring to criticise.
ReplyDelete“The benefits of independence should be front and centre…………”
Delete🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
See my post above, replying to Ifs.
What are these so called “benefits of independence”?
I’ve been asking the question for days now, but am still awaiting an answer. Probably all I’ll get once again is abuse though!
Off you go you silly billy. The question is not are there benefits. The question is why the SNP/SG do not have them front and centre. Do you struggle with basic comprehension?
DeleteJust the sort of pathetic response I was expecting from the hapless numpty@9:40am!
DeleteSurely Ifs can do better!
You are a tedious little man, and got the response you deserve. Now jog on back to your Daily Express.
Delete10.55am why is KC a little man but ifs is a wee man? Is that you subconsciously showing more respect to KC? How tall are you? Do your pals say big man how’s it going? Or do they say wee man you are a right pain in the arse? I’ m doing some research work on sociopaths for my degree so your answer will be very useful. Thank you for your attention.
DeleteAnon at 11.06. Oh dear not very good are you. You need to make it credible and a cretin like you isn’t getting near a degree level course. Stick to face paints and potato shapes.
DeleteWhy are so many people on SGP incredibly rude. That reply was uncalled for 3.19pm. I’m beginning to think there are a few sociopaths posting on SGP. I think I have found a good research opportunity.
DeleteKC - here's one article for you:
Deletehttps://www.snp.org/policies/why-is-independence-vital-for-scotland/
Not great frankly, but it's your starter for 10.
KC's question has been answered multiple times in recent days. He always replies to that answer with some variation on "Nationalist pish!" with no elaboration, and then makes another post complaining that no one has answered him. There's no point engaging.
DeleteNot for KC, but he's a useful tool to encourage us to put up links for Independence which might help any lurkers who are undecided or soft NOes.
DeleteHi Anon at 11.06 and 4.16. Not the sharpest are you? People who come on here spreading lies and disinformation are called out.
Delete22.23 am I posted that some people on SGP are rude and then you prove my point at 12.23pm. So how do you think I am posting lies and disinformation? As I never posted any information how can I have posted disinformation? Very strange reaction.
Delete@ Anonymous, August 26, 2026 at 11:06 AM
DeleteRE "I’ m doing some research work on sociopaths for my degree so your answer will be very useful."
By FAR the most vital urgent and DEEP understanding everyone needs to gain is that a mafia network of manipulating PSYCHOPATHS (or sociopaths) is, and always has been, governing big businesses and institutions (eg official medicine, big academia, big tech, big banks, big religions), governments and the world -- the evidence is, and has been, very solid in front of everyone's "awake" nose: see “The 2 Married Pink Elephants In The Historical Room”... https://www.rolf-hefti.com/covid-19-coronavirus.html
"We’ll sit on the edge of our seats watching made-up tales about psychopathic killers while psychopathic killers rule the world." --- Caitlin Johnstone, Independent Journalist
And psychopaths are typically NOT how Hollywood propaganda movies (or the Wikipedia/WebMD propaganda outlets) have showcased them. And therefore one better RE-learns what a psychopath REALLY is. One'll then know why they exploit/harm everyone, why they want to control everyone and have been creating a new world order/global dictatorship, and many other formerly puzzling things will become very clear.
Of even greater significance in terms of global mass understanding is this... Global rulership by psychopaths is only ONE part of the equation that makes up the destructive human condition as the cited article above explains.
Without a proper understanding, and full acknowledgment, of the true WHOLE problem and reality, no real constructive LASTING change is possible for humanity.
And if anyone does NOT acknowledge, recognize, and face (either wittingly or unwittingly) the WHOLE truth THEY are helping to prevent this from happening. And so they are "part of the problem" and not part of the solution.
"If we have learned anything in the past six years, it is that vaccinologists, doctors, and the government in general do not have good intentions and never did. The clear intention of everyone concerned was and is to make as much dirty money as possible, letting any amount of collateral damage slide, including a genocide and mass poisoning [with Covid-19 jabs]. The fact [is] that Big Pharma just murdered millions of people, with the full support of government, media, and “science”. With Covid, everyone is part of the fraud, many of them paid off, so no one has any reason to expose it, and big reasons to bury it. Don't believe anything these people tell you, ABOUT ANYTHING. It isn't time for a civil war against your neighbors, it is time for a revolution against these hoaxers and thieves." --- Miles Mathis, American author, in 2025
"Ignorance is the root cause of all Evil. Since only Knowledge eradicates ignorance, it is our duty and moral obligation to educate ourselves, as well as the masses around us." --- Anonymous
Speaking of ignorance is evil, how can the masses get out of this whole mess (and create justice, freedom and peace for all)? First, EVERYONE needs to learn, and teach others, what TRUE morality is ---99% of people don't know what it is because (1) it's NOT taught in the official indoctrination system, better know as the "education system," and (2) it's NOT the same as religious morality: https://odysee.com/@woeih:e/Mark-Passio-Government-Is-Slavery:a
Because if you don't know what TRUE morality is you will not stop doing, unwittingly or wittingly, evil things...
"The solution is NOT to create something new (eg, new systems of organization, new technologies, etc). The solution is to STOP being complicit with evil. To STOP doing things that are not moral for a reward. To STOP being complicit with anything the control system tells us we must do." --- Mark Passio, Spiritual Teacher
"As financial access, employment, and administration become conditional on algorithmic systems, freedom does not disappear through overt coercion, but through participation that is scored, filtered, and managed." --- Mark Keenan, Dec 2025 [https://www.globalresearch.ca/ai-operating-system-digital-totalitarianism/5909796]
Westminster wants to start a war with Russia when it has a near £3 trillion debt and a lot of its citizens cannae afford to keep warm in winter. In Scotland people cannae afford to keep warm in spring and autumn never mind winter. The price cap going up once again in October. Any schemes introduced by Westminster to help with high energy bills gives the same level of support to people in the Isle of Wight and the Shetland isles despite the regular 10 to 15 degree temperature difference. England will always favour the English. Yet they are happy to give themselves the extra pay called the London allowance because it more expensive in London. It disnae work the other way when something is more expensive in Scotland.
ReplyDeleteWhatever happened to the great Labour Party promise of thousands of jobs in Scotland with their GB Energy company. Just a scam to get votes just as Sturgeon did with her promise of a Scottish energy company back in 2017.
Scotland a nation with a massive bounty of oil/gas and its land and seas being covered in wind farms and electricity pylons to send electricity down to England. They also want to cover Scotland in nuclear reactors to create more electricity to send down to England. We get the blight on our land and seas to feed England’s need for electricity and carry the risk of a mini Chernobyl disaster. We have no say in this because we are England’s de facto colony.
Not the case in independent Norway who make decisions to benefit Norwegians. They don’t let Sweden control them and help themselves to Norway’s resources.
Why would any sane person want to be ruled by Westminster when you can look at independent neighbours who have a far superior standard of living and are not keen to send its young people to die in pointless foreign wars.
The British army has a track record of sending its Scottish regiments in to battle first to deplete the enemies ammunition.
When the Britnats say WE are better together. The WE means England.
This can best be described as utter drivel!
DeleteAye KC is insane.
DeleteKC's reply tells you all you need to know about the Britnats. They cannae refute the points because they are true.

ReplyDeleteOr is the the same anon replying to themselves. That makes more sense but nae doot yi ken whit a mean
DeleteBREAKING NEWS
ReplyDeletePresident Zelensky of Ukraine has announced he wants ex First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon to be the new Head of Ukraine’s anti corruption department. Zelensky stated that he had looked far and wide and decided they was the best man for job. The President stated that they had considerable experience of corruption in high office in Edinburgh, Scotland which would play an important part in safeguarding the billions of pounds of monies received from across the world.
Ms Sturgeon stated they was delighted to take up this great opportunity and was looking forward to relocating to Ukraine to help them remain an independent country. They quickly added that they would not be going anywhere near the front line to fight Putin but it was still a new and exciting challenge. No ring fenced donations in this gig they laughed. You can only drink so much Sauvignon blanc and cream cakes in Nottinghill. As they departed Sturgeon was heard gently singing the ABBA hit Money Money.
Does someone have a substance abuse problem, leading to unfunny postings?
Delete6.07pm is your comment funny?
DeleteSturgeon the independence fighter. Just not for Scotland.
DeleteCampbell the dependence fighter. Sponsored by Suckers r us.
Deletenever trust a man with a beard and likes a bath or a person who thinks stalking Ms Sturgeon is normal behaviour.
Delete8.09pm were you concerned when Sturgeon was persecuting Salmond? Or does your concern only cover Sturgeon?
Delete8.09pm are C5 in your mind also stalking Sturgeon by putting together a programme about Sturgeon and her criminal husband.
DeleteAttempt by IFS to be smart and humorous. Failed spectacularly on both counts. He must have started early on the sauce. And he is replying to himself again as an anon, but don’t tell anyone. It’s a secret.
DeleteIt's a parody. It was not meant to be humorous but the lowlife Britnat troll at 8.34am is too ignorant to see that. Wrong I do not reply to myself that is something the lowlife Britnat does.
DeleteMany SNP numpties boasted about how other heads of state and international organisations would be desperate to recruit Sturgeon in a senior position. They were wrong as usual. They all see her as tainted by corruption and someone who betrayed her country and they are correct to do so.
Ha ha IFSy of course it's a parody. And of course you don't post as an anonymous replying to yourself.
Delete11.01am it may be normal for a Britnat weirdo like you to talk to themselves but not me.
DeleteI'm agreeing with you IFSy. Or maybe I'm being sarcastic? You are laughable.
DeleteGreat stuff but in Scotland facts are stranger than fiction so it may well be true
ReplyDeleteBut it aint.
DeleteIt ain’t because it’s parody.
DeleteIf I was an artist I'd love to do a painting of the prolific posters to this website. I would call it Dance of the Dead and each character would look like the person in Edvard Munch's The Scream.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous is the most prolific poster. Oh that’s you.
DeleteSo nobody has really been able to give me any “benefits of Indy”. Although Ifs did give a half hearted effort, prattling on about Norway, but that’s been it!
ReplyDeleteI have to come to the conclusion, which I’ve suspected all along, that most peoples desire for independence is merely driven by a dislike/hatred for England/the English/Westminster/the BBC. There’s obviously no real case for independence, and all these people seem to have left is this disgraceful anti English stuff. Clearly this will do nothing to increase support for independence, quite the opposite in fact!
All very sad I’m afraid.
I rest my case.
Bye bye KC you won’t be missed.
DeleteHere's another KC:
Deletehttps://www.gov.scot/publications/fresh-start-independence/
you get the full tax take, day one
Deleteno one takes all your money and hands you back cents on the dollar
that is enough to be going on with
are you thick?
as for the english - everyone in the world hates them, including their special friends, the americans - and all because england has attacked about 170 of the worlds 200 nations.
Hating the english is just natural.
“are you thick?” asks Anon@9:49am.
DeleteNo I’m tot thick.
Judging by your post though, there’s not a lot between your lugs.
Keep up the good work. People like you do wonders for the union!
Not.
Deleteyou could have "offered rebuttal" on any of my 3 points but did not - because you have nothing, and it is you who are indeed "thick"
Deleteso you go weakly personal - its sad
of course there is no rebuttal because its all true and the economic demolition of any pro union argument is done by looking at the gdp per capita of the EFTA nations
Anon at 10.18am a look at the wealthiest countries per head of population consistently over decades has small nations in the majority of the top ten. A lot of them are European. Fundamentally our neighbour's have a much higher standard of living than Scotland yet Scotland has greater resources than them. The fake union may help keep England afloat but it is an unmitigated disaster for Scotland. London rule has been good for London and the South East and these chancers try to claim they subsidise us.
Delete9:49 and 10:18
DeletePut a sock in it.
You might think you’re being smart, but all you’re doing is giving ammunition to the likes of kc, with your anti English bile.
Screw the nut!
yet you cant stop being on a independence blog. Seems you are more concerned than you make out. Im pro Scots. No need to apologise pro brit/ angle?
ReplyDeleteSurvation poll in Herald - Burnham the most popular politician in Scotland, really? (Off topic I know)
ReplyDeleteWith his "Off the table" slogan, poor Andy Burnham seems to want to go down in history with a memorable motto, like Thatcher's 'So that's out'. Spoiler: He's not going down in history.
DeleteActresses all over England will be practising their Scottish accent saying
ReplyDelete" nae comment " and " ah don't recall " and " ahm a victim " over and over again.
Actors all over England hoping to get the Swinney part will be practising their boring charisma free look.
Ugly fat baldies will think they are in with a shout of getting the Murrell character.
“To Nicola, Love Peter” should certainly be interesting!
DeleteImelda Staunton and Toby Jones would be visually perfect for the title roles.
Delete"Ugly fat baldies" ... IfS showing his true nasty character yet again.
Delete10.52am Stanton yes I can see that but Toby Jones not so much.
DeleteThe bald gay guy in Little Briton Matt Lucas fits the bill more as Murrell is clearly a Britnat and probably gay.
1.00pm so you have a thing for Peter Murrell. Criminals turn you on. Fair enough. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but to most people he is no oil painting. So ugly is pretty factual. Aye he is fat alright - so factual comment.
Is he bald? Yes so again factual comment.
It's nice to know that someone will be waiting for him when he gets out of jail. See I am a caring chap. Just keep your wallet close.
1.00pm why do you care? Are you a fat bald ugly bloke? Is that it?
DeleteAt 9:44. Massively hilarious. Do you write you own material, or get Iris from Tesco to do it for you?
DeleteI shall never vote for Sturgeon IFS.
Deletebeing attached to england is like being "siamese-twinned" to a kleptomaniac psychopath
ReplyDeleteor being the backend of a badly stitched up pantomime horse, getting constantly farted on
to re-iterate : there are NO ADVANTAGES whatsoever in such a political "arrangement" as this - and there will NEVER be any
EMPIRE IS A LOOTING OPERATION
without the attachment to england we could have avoided all their wars of theft across the globe, and without our help they would have been defeated a lot more often, thus bringing an end to their criminal enterprise, which is what "Britain" is - it is organised crime that went legit around the time of the "glorious revolution"
10:16
DeleteYou sound like the same dipstick who posted at 9:49.
12.11pm you sound like KC and his Britnat pal anonymous.
DeleteSpot on.
DeleteThe British Empire was built on the UK Govt/WM taking control over huge numbers of countries and then systematically and continuously sucking them dry of whatever natural resources they had, while, at the same time lying through their teeth about how Britain was supposedly 'supporting' those countries and that those countries could simply not survive without the big broad shoulders of the Empire to look after them.
Same lying crap that WM and its unionists still spout today in relation to Scotland.
Times have changed - but the WM lies have not.
I always like it when normally "hostile" sources like the BBC and the UK Parliament give us information that isn't easy to come by, which normally we have to glean from a bit here and a bit there. Like this:
ReplyDeletehttps://www.parliament.uk/about/living-heritage/evolutionofparliament/legislativescrutiny/act-of-union-1707/overview/negotiating-the-articles-of-union-1705---06/
"On 1 September, one of the chief opposition figures, the Duke of Hamilton, having done his best to obstruct the introduction of a treaty act, proposed that the commissioners be nominated by the Queen.
Stunned by Hamilton's inexplicable behaviour, most of the opposition leaders left the chamber in dismay, and the motion was passed by eight votes."
Hence the one-sided Act of Union which was forced on us.
It's prettier on wayback and has a clear index:

The two other villains of the Act of Union were Queensberry and Godolphin, though he was English and just doing the best for his country, England, unlike the other two who sold out Scotland.

All I'm hearing in politics right now is Burham, Burnham, Burnham and I'm absolutely sick of it. What happened to Nige's original plan, he said Gas 'em and I say we stick with it. We need to gas'em, not fuckin Burnham. Let's gas 'em, let's gas'em Nige, lets fuckin gas'em.
ReplyDeleteThe British have never shared anything because everything they’ve ever had was sold to their private business pals right after the British stole it in the first place
ReplyDeleteThe British are wholesale parasites sucking the life currently from Scotland and selling it on to the lowest bidder who’ll provide the biggest kickbacks to English/British politicians who retire after a couple of years with more money than most people will earn in their lifetime
Britain is England is the UK, Scotland cannot exist as a country until we rid ourselves of the parasite, and it must come from us, the people, our government is not Scotland, it’s the people who are Scotland
