SNP conference, and a housekeeping note

Never let it be said that I don't take my SNP membership seriously, because I've given up on watching the rugby today in order to attend the SNP campaign conference in Edinburgh.  (And there's precious little chance of doing a Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads by avoiding the result until I can watch it on catch-up, because ironically the rugby is one of the main topics of conversation at the conference.). While I've got a moment, I just wanted to apologise to some of the readers who have emailed me over the last few days, because I've been so rushed off my feet with the constituency profiles and whatnot that I haven't managed to reply to everyone.

One message I did reply to, though, was alerting me to the latest Scotland In Union propaganda poll, which I hope to cover later, because I'm afraid it sounds very much like Survation have moved up a gear in the assistance they're willing to give to Scotland In Union by subverting the polling process and knowingly producing misleading results.

My latest constituency profiles for The National are Clydesdale, Coatbridge & Chryston and Cowdenbeath.

    1. Not hugely worrying. One view among many.

  2. Ah well - all the righteous can put down their Bibles at Sunday noon to be captivated by Through a Scottish Prism on Youtube - From Alba to Alliance Sheridan and Murray Speak Out. Oooh - they must be famous.

    1. I presume Allan Petrie has now suddenly dropped out of the list of regulars, just as Yvonne Ridley did a couple of years ago. When they lose Lloyd Quinan, it'll be game over.

And in Craig Murray's case, shouldn't the title be: "From Alba to Workers Party to Your Party to Alliance and from there Christ knows but let's be honest he won't be hanging around"

  3. State broadcaster undertaking the usual haranguing of the First Minister. Ask a question FM starts to response and another question thrown in to put him off. Then another, then another. Fair do’s to FM not to get put off. Gary Armstrong just looked like a stroppy wee boy.

  4. Had to laugh at Roddy MacLeod (Barrhead Boy), Tommy Sheridan and Craig Murray recent broadcast. Sheridan stating that wanted to promote maximum unity and maximum success in the independence movement. I suppose the guy from Bath would agree.
