Reform UK 27% (-)
Labour 23% (-)
Conservatives 17% (-)
Liberal Democrats 16% (+1)
Greens 10% (-1)
SNP 3% (-)
Plaid Cymru 1% (-)
Scottish subsample: SNP 39%, Reform UK 19%, Labour 17%, Liberal Democrats 10%, Greens 6%, Conservatives 6%
Oh, who will save the Scottish Tories now? The number of respondents in these subsamples is tiny, but there does seem to be a weird consistency to the SNP doing markedly better after their setback in the Hamilton by-election than before. That may seem counterintuitive but it's not impossible that it's a real trend.
I remember not long after the independence referendum the subsamples were hinting at a big boost for the SNP and a local by-election in Wick picked up on the apparent SNP surge. I'm beginning to think something similar is happening although not quite on the same scale.
ReplyDeleteThere is something amiss. The world’s worst forecaster Declan still hasn’t punched the air. Did he try, missed the air and knocked himself out.
ReplyDeleteThe Bath Baby's rattles will be all over the place.
ReplyDeleteDiddums.
John Swinney has done a good job to raise support for SNP.
ReplyDeleteWell I took the advice of the SGP's very own travel agent and had a wee holiday in Scotland. Reading the btl comments on some of James's articles I was astonished to read SNP ultras complaining about Fergus Ewing saying independence should not be considered for 10 years.
ReplyDeleteThe ability of these people to exclude basic facts from their memory is incredible.
1. The SNP have not considered independence for the last 11 years.
2. John Swinney the current SNP leader told Sturgeon not to consider Indyref2.
3. John Swinney has also said independence will not be considered until support for yes is greater than 70%. That will certainly not happen in the next 10 years.
Yet according to these SNP ultras only Ewing is the bad guy on independence. There is no sensible reasoning with these sort of bampots. In their SNP ultra world facts that they don't like are just ignored.
IFS hiding as anonymous is pretty pathetic. Almost as pathetic as boasting about being unemployed.
ReplyDeleteDeclan just like the Britnats resorts to lies.
DeleteDeclan as Skier says on WGD 23/6: " Well the end of the union is certainly nigh." 😂😂😂😂😂 What a clown you are Skier. You have been posting that same stuff since 2017.
DeleteI see the anonymous troll IFS, who continues to deny that obvious fact, is still spouting his guff on here.
ReplyDeleteAs the SNP recover from the GE setback and more and more Scots again see them as the best option to form our next Scottish government next year, the more guff IFS will spout.
Bath fanboys like him virtually never concentrate their vitriol on the real dangers to Scotland like the rise of the Reform filth and the general shift to the right of politics in general which threatens not only many of our most important democratic norms, but also the very existence of our Scottish parliament itself.
IFS and WoS only really focus on trying to destroy the SNP.
It is why they get up of a morning and crawl onto sites like this.
The fact that Scottish voters just keep on making SNP the governing party in Scotland, really boils their piss.
Satisfying thing is, us Scots look very much like doing exactly that again in 2026, which will cause those usual suspects to spontaneously combust and implode.
A Scottish political world without WoS, IFS and Ewing is just around the corner!
Can you explain the article by Seamus Logan? More specifically can you explain why within the SNP there is no sense of urgency or priority in respect of Independence? And when exactly will be the right time to have an election as a de facto independence referendum? Will it be a Holyrood Election or a Westminster election? Please actually answer these questions. In the absence of this type of information half a million people have turned their back on SNP, and some relatively small upturns in the party’s fortunes in recent polls have more to do with the utter incompetence of Labour, (albeit they still defeated the SNP in the most recent by election), than anything SNP have done.
DeleteIt's the Britnat David Francis at 1.54pm. Funny how he only pops up on SGP when I post my opinion advocating that the SNP progress independence through a referendum. As ever he does not dispute the contents of my post at 11.18am but just delivers his usual troll personal abuse.
DeleteJust like that other anti referendum Britnat Declan ( also known as Scottish Skier, Ross Anderson ) Francis just loves to lie about my viewpoint. Campbell has been clear he wants to destroy the SNP. So Francis gets that right. However, he lies about me. All I have ever wanted since 2020 is for the SNP to hold a referendum. The charlatan leadership who made promise after promise led to me to believe the SNP needed new leadership. A leadership that actually wanted independence not just to keep their nice cosy jobs and pensions. It's people like Francis and Declan who along with the SNP leadership who have betrayed independence. Note I have no knowledge of Campbell advocating a de facto referendum but the liar Francis tries to lump me in with Campbell.
Is Ewing advocating a referendum for 2026 like me. No he is not but the liar Francis tries to lump me in with him as well.
All this stuff from the cowardly troll Francis about " boiling their piss " " combust and implode " is just infantile nonsense from a disturbed person.
Francis says " is just around the corner". Now that sounds like Scottish Skier/Declan/Ross Anderson. Is David Francis just Skier?
A note to Francis. The "governing party in Scotland " will only be a true governing party after Scottish independence. Unlike you I am not satisified with a colonial party managing Scotland for Westminster.
