What we are witnessing would not look out of place in the most disreputable Banana republic. The New Labour/Prospect/Red Tories faction has made an absolute **** of themselves. This is what happens when you hand the keys of your political party to the likes of Blair, Brown, Mandelson, Straw, Miliband, Cooper, Burnham et al for around 20 years. muttley79noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-930120922627919768.post-73265221297114491422015-08-20T19:51:15.781+01:002015-08-20T19:51:15.781+01:00Aldo wants us to vote to be part of a country wher...Aldo wants us to vote to be part of a country where this party is regularly in government.Scottish_Skiernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-930120922627919768.post-4940973151380711282015-08-20T19:03:22.048+01:002015-08-20T19:03:22.048+01:00When will folk realise that we don't, and neve...When will folk realise that we don't, and never have lived in a democracy?
You can vote for whoever you like, as long as Westminster is elected.
Bring on the Boris water pistols.Jutemanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11061671774494923407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-930120922627919768.post-63067171474465160802015-08-20T17:27:19.558+01:002015-08-20T17:27:19.558+01:00*should NOT have invited them to donate in return ...*should NOT have invited them to donate in return for a vote! If they wanted to disallow these people who chose to join up after the election from voting on this because they were not committed enough to the Labour party, then they should have invited them to donate in return for a vote. That's all they had to do, really. If the rules at the start had been, 'we think only people who had joined before the contest opened were committed enough, and therefore only these people have a vote' then fair enough. It's the changing the rules when things appear not to be going as they wished that is the scandal.Johnnynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-930120922627919768.post-6633066020649448632015-08-20T16:31:28.516+01:002015-08-20T16:31:28.516+01:00And also Quentin Davies. And also Quentin Davies.James Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01516007141763230886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-930120922627919768.post-61191896822483401562015-08-20T16:26:20.114+01:002015-08-20T16:26:20.114+01:00at least 3 MP's are still alive that have &quo...at least 3 MP's are still alive that have "crossed the floor" from Conservative to the Labour party.
