Certainly wasn't like Scotland during the indyref (No signs that I could see), but I could tell that it was something of a topic of conversation. Went to buy a few things in the local Waitrose and heard some young shelf stackers chatting about the issue. They were mostly for Leave.

Obviously not going to be an indyref turnout, but I won't be surprised if it gets to the 70% mark.Stoatnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-930120922627919768.post-38445845198345299702016-06-20T21:35:14.364+01:002016-06-20T21:35:14.364+01:00Aye ok. They have said in the past they would not have a state who's population would dwarf their own combined. Were that not the case, Turkey would have been a member already. There is going ...As usual - interesting discussion. There is going to be hell to pay if Brexit occurs, because the majority of MP's are pro EU, and they will never vote for anything other than the UK being part of EFTA, with access to the single market, and once people realise that they've swapped membership of the EU for "2nd class Norway-style" associate membership, the situation could turn very ugly. Let's hope enough Scots turn to independence, so that we can get away from the mayhem that will ensue. Having said all that, I still think a narrow "Remain" vote will happen next Thursday.
Alex BirnieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
