Apparently, the Supreme Court DON'T think Scotland has "the most powerful devolved parliament in the world"

Well, you're spoilt for choice as far as 'just a little note' is concerned this afternoon.  I have a reaction piece in the International Business Times about the Supreme Court effectively ruling that "The Vow" was a sham, and the Tories' irrationally jubilant reaction to that news.  You can read it HERE.

And I also have an article on the TalkRadio website about what the rogue Trident missile may have been trying to tell us when it went off on its hols to America.  You can read that one HERE.

  1. The Scottish Tories jubilant and 'Scottish' Labour saying well done. Do Labour voters feel the same way, or the LibDems?

  2. Tories, being primitive humans who haven't developed much beyond childhood, are driven by immediate needs and have no concept of the longer term or anything much beyond self.
They should be treated as children who are not yet sufficiently developed to make responsible decisions.
This appears to be mainly understood in Scotland but unfortunately not in England.

    1. Your description would be more aptly applied to socialism - a childlike ideology that forgets or ignores the simple fact that somebody has to pay for everything. If a teenager could have free reign over his parents' bank account, it probably wouldn't end well. The parents are there to say 'no' and teach the value of money. In this situation you can consider the parent the 'tory' and the child the 'socialist'.

    3. Opinion seems to be coalescing around the idea that the SNP will hold their independence referendum in Autumn of 2018. So if that's to happen you would expect some political movement by the end of this year. The process of putting a bill through Holyrood, consulting Westminster, Westminster approval, electoral commission approval, fundraising and campaigning will take a fair chunk of time. So no movement by the end of this year, at all, signals no referendum in 2018 either. That leaves 2019 and 2020. But we brexit in March 2019.

  83. So today we found out scottish trade with RUK is worth 4 times that of its trade with the rest of the EU.

    Logic:

Lemma A. Leaving the EU will make it very hard for the UK to trade with EU countries
Lemma B. Leaving the UK will mean Scotland can join/stay in the EU.

A logician: Therefore the rest of the UK will find it hard to trade with Scotland, an EU member
A nat "alternative" logician: Therefore the rest of the UK will trade no problems with Scotland, an EU member

Let's face it, the SNP are just UKIP but even more parochial, with an economic stance 4 times as stupid. Same pipe dreams about having their cake and eating it. Same moans about some supra-national union taking all their monies. Same shite about taking their country back.

If the UK leaving the EU is bad for trade, then scotland leaving the UK will be 4x badderer for trade as figures showed today. On the other hand, if it makes no difference, then why bother?

The SNP's solution to the UK sawing off the branch they are sitting on is to see if they can saw off their own bit of branch as well on the way down.

Westminster CHAOS was explicitly predicted for 2016 while the dumbest faction of the tories (of which you are the most hilarious example here) thought it would be smooth sailing with Cameron *snigger* and the tories crushing all before them in the EU referendum.

How did the prediction - long, loooooong before the EU referendum took place -that it would be ALL about immigration, immigration immigration turn out?

The one you thought was wrong and didn't matter?

You've already lost one MP who quit after saying May was turning the tories into the kippers and he won't be the last.

Since you bring up logical thought then try displaying it for once in your life.

Kipper Theresa didn't cave in to the tory faction of her party and anger the kipper half over the white paper because there was only a handful of them and they are impotent.

There was and is still MORE than enough tories on that half of the split to bring her down should they choose.

That's what happens when you have a tiny majority and seem intent on pushing yet more tories out the party by trying (and failing) to appease Farage and the kippers. (yet again)

As for the polling, if you believe the figures then why NOT have that G.E. ? Hmmm?

We're ready for one, so why aren't the tories?

Why doesn't Kipper Theresa finally get a mandate from someone other than her comedy MPs who only made her PM because she was the last one standing in the usual tory teachery and backstabbing slapstick contest.
